It's really not that expensive to go to Thailand or Bali, there's a reason that they're the bogan holiday destinations of choice. You can stay there in a 4.5 star hotel on the beach for about $70/night. So it costs you less than a grand to go over there for a week including flights and food.

When you're unemployed and going over for 2 weeks every couple of months it's a little blatantly obvious. And if you have a different car every couple of months, bought with cash. It amazes me that they haven't been caught yet, even their facebook statuses are about going on holiday all the time and not having to work....Vic Police, not the sharpest knives in the draw.

If nobody says anything to the police, how are they meant to know? They can't watch everything that goes on.

Everybody knows, it's not like it's a well kept secret. I think they've been allowed to get away with it because they kept it pretty quiet, but now they're flaunting the wealth a little too blatantly. They will go and be replaced eventually, it works in cycles.

you know some people just a rent a new expensive car each year. You still have to be rich to do that but just not rich enough to buy the thing outright. Same with mansions/houses.
