WGMG: How quickly the battery power drains from my computer and Ipod.
WAGMG: No place to watch Aus vs South Korea tonight. FFT Live commentary FTW.
WGMGEM: The fact that my brother's Ipod seems to have an endless power supply.

MidfieldMaestro wrote:WGMG: How quickly the battery power drains from my computer and Ipod. +1, although it does charge back up fairly quickly. WGMG: Labeling school books. Most of them are textbooks I'm not even bringing to school as well, but I'm being forced to label them as well.

+1 12hrs on the train, iPod kept it's charge. Laptop lasted 100 minutes. Lithium batteries, it's what happens when you leave your laptop plugged in 90% of the time. You've got to 'train' it by letting it run flat once in a while. You'll also find the same problem with your phone if you never let it run flat and always charge it from roughly the same point. It creates a gradually increasing depleted zone in the battery and eventually the area in the cell behind the depleted zone can nolonger be charged. So the best thing to do is once a week allow your phone to run completely flat and charge it from the start. You'll find that this process isn't necessary in some newer batteries, but apple products and some phones like nokia still have this problem with lithium batteries. Laptops are the main culprit though.

Printers  That is all.
WGMG: I'm sure I could put in 100 hours a week and still only coax ten people, two lost hobos and a rabid dog to an ASB Premiership match. EDIT: Four would probably leave, after learning that it isn't actually a garage sale.

Maybe you aren't targetting enough people?? Also, Dave Farrington Park is kind of hard to get to if you can't drive yourself.

Maybe you aren't targetting enough people?? Also, Dave Farrington Park is kind of hard to get to if you can't drive yourself. Fair enough. It does seem like a mission. I'm not that familiar with Wellington itself, just the greater region. I have it (the event) out on facebook and spam the Wellington Phoenix page, as well as the All Whites, ASB Prem, and the respective pages of whoever is playing (haven't got round to these last four yet as I just put it up), but it just seems as though nobody is interested. I'm probably right, which is the depressing thing. People only seem to like soccer if it's a mixture of promising and woefully inept players playing out of a cricket ground that is 1/5th full, who are being paid to be six shades of average every week. WGMG: Relapsing
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.
