12hrs on the train, iPod kept it's charge. Laptop lasted 100 minutes.

My mum gets confused with all the different remotes for the TV, Sky, etc and usually ends up trying to change channel with the DVD remote :lol: .

At least then she doesn't have the capability to search your computer to see what you've been getting up to on the internet:p


And at least, as they can't work it, you can be the boss of the TV.

A while back, trying to teach my parents how mobile phones worked was absolutely agonsing. This is just one example on a long list.

Speaking of stuff like this, it was quite painful teaching my Dad how the whole e-mail concept worked.

My dad works as an IT consultant so hes normally pretty good with computers. My mum often gets cofused about the TV though.

Haha...Funnily enough, its a email he's failed on. Oh its hard. :lol:

WGMG: Labeling school books. Most of them are textbooks I'm not even bringing to school as well, but I'm being forced to label them as well.

Lithium batteries, it's what happens when you leave your laptop plugged in 90% of the time. You've got to 'train' it by letting it run flat once in a while.

You'll also find the same problem with your phone if you never let it run flat and always charge it from roughly the same point. It creates a gradually increasing depleted zone in the battery and eventually the area in the cell behind the depleted zone can nolonger be charged. So the best thing to do is once a week allow your phone to run completely flat and charge it from the start. You'll find that this process isn't necessary in some newer batteries, but apple products and some phones like nokia still have this problem with lithium batteries. Laptops are the main culprit though.

Fair enough. It does seem like a mission. I'm not that familiar with Wellington itself, just the greater region.

I have it (the event) out on facebook and spam the Wellington Phoenix page, as well as the All Whites, ASB Prem, and the respective pages of whoever is playing (haven't got round to these last four yet as I just put it up), but it just seems as though nobody is interested.
