WGMG: We were allowed our first training session at Anzac and it is in worse condition now, with no-one but cricket on it for the last 6 months, than how we left it at the end of last season. We were about the 5th Eagles team to start training there. I hope we are on our usual field and they don't switch us with the top divisions because our field at least had a consistent layer of grass and significantly smaller potholes.

Anzac is the worst field. We have our Round 2 match there for a local derby. On Anzac 3 i think, which is the shit one. :lol:

I wouldn't say it is the worst. For me the worst goes by default to the grounds with the synthetic cricket pitch, that they don't cover or pull out, in the middle like Dianella st and Grays Point field 1.
Not sure which is one is what number but the one closest to the club house which the better teams play on is the worse one in terms of pot holes and grass growth. If the other one didn't have the slope in one goal area it would be by far a better field.
Heathcote oval is in just about the worst condition I have ever seen it. Having said that it is still in better condition than I have ever seen Anzac in.

The one the better teams play on is Anzac 2 I am pretty sure, I may be wrong though. That Nth Caringbah field is terrible as well, forgot about that. Who you playing 1st round? What grade?

AA11 Bangor at home. Then Bonnet Bay away in the 2nd round, I am looking forward to that game we always seem to have massively high scoring draws at Lakewood City.

WGMG: ESPN audio. They drown out the whole crowd, I turn to SBS and the quality of top shelf and ESPN is awful. Both picture and sound.

ESPN is usually blurry too. Must be the connection they use. I also think they have just get some guys back in america to speak over the spanish broadcast so they turn the original sound right down.:lol:

Yeh they commentate from the studio. But SBS do the same thing.
