We submit the report and realise we've lost marks from the technical tutor for not having subheadings and her comment on the task sheet was "split introduction into sub-headings" You can't win! It happens every week too, which defeats the whole purpose of the unit, to give us a process and structure for assignments in second year and beyond. How are we supposed to learn how to do it if the people who run the unit don't know how to do it? Really shits me to tears. :evil: First question: How many marks did you lose for this discrepancy? If I were you, I'd talk to your Dean. They'll sort you out: even if you just write an email and tell them what happened to get either some perspective or some affirmative action, it's for the better. I've had marks overturned from a simple email to my Dean - Officeworks' computers didn't recognise a font I used in a project (the front page of a mag), and printed it in Times, so I lost 10 marks; I just emailed the Dean, told him what happened, they let me send them a digital copy instead of a paper one. I ended up with a D instead of a C for it - result! :D I'm not sure how many marks overall. It was the whole lack of consistency that annoyed me really.

WGMG: Girls organising the ball getting annoyed at me for saying that I'm not going anymore. Not my fault and not my problem. They made it too bloody expensive and factored in that everyone would bring dates, even though that was never going to happen.

WGMG: Australia post employees. Going in to get a new passport, have an appointment at 3. Get there at 3, but theres a line so it's about 3-4 mins before it's my turn. She has a whinge at me because I'm late and then makes me wait for her to serve some other people. I then show her the forms to get it done. She then goes on to complain about absofuckinglutely everything on there. I wrote the date as 15/4/11 OH NO YOU CANT FUCKING DO THAT, IT HAS TO BE 15/04/2011. And oh look, about one millimetre of pen mark went outside one of the boxes OH NO YOU CANT FUCKING HAVE THAT. Ok lets look at your photos, looks ok OH NO YOU CANT FUCKING HAVE THAT, THE DISTANCE FROM CHIN TO CROWN IS ABOUT 5MILLIMETRES TOO SHORT HAVE TO GET NEW PHOTOS AND GO FILL OUT A NEW FORM IT ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH. You know what, go fuck yourself bitch. Absolute rage. I know I'll go to another place and they'll do it no worries. But this bitch has one iota of power so has to be a **** about it. RAGE.

/rant I know your pain, but in regards to the bold, they won't. They have to be a dick about it because of just how tight the restrictions are for passports. Believe it or not, if they'd sent off your form, as it was, it'd have come back because of the distance between your chin and crown is too long or whatever. I'm not even kidding.
