WGMG: The learning referee and linesmen that we had today that robbed us of our perfect winning record and almost gave the other team the win.
Calls the ref and linesmen made against us that were wrong:
1. Called a penalty against us when our centre back won a header in the box and had a striker run into his back and fall over. Luckily for us it went straight down the middle into our keepers hands.
2. The other team opened the scoring after clearly catching a through ball to place it at his feet before shooting past the keeper.
3. One of our strikers made a break through on goal from 40m out. 30m the last man swiped his legs out from behind but our striker managed to just keep his feet and the ref called play on. This allowed the second centre back to come through and he again as last man swiped his feet out as our striker shot from just outside the 18 yard box. Just as the ball went into the goal the ref blew a free kick and did not send either of the defenders off. That goal would have put us up 3-1 with around 25 minutes to go.
4. I made a run through the defence and I made sure I was a good 2-3 metres onside when the player passed the ball. When I got into the box the goalkeeper came out and put his shoulder through my chest in no attempt to win the ball. When I got up appealing for a penalty and a send off I found that I had been called offside by the linesman standing on halfway a good 30m were he should have been to make that call.
5. Gave repeated corners to the other team when they had clearly kicked it out which resulted in them scoring the equaliser with 4 minutes to go.
WGMG: The referee refused to change his uniform after we asked him to even though it, black, was almost indistinguishable from the Barden Ridge uniform, a very dark blue.
WGMG: Selfish players that deny their team a goalscoring opportunity because they think that dribbling past 4 defenders and trying to blast the ball into the goal from a fine angle is a better option than just sliding a simple pass across the box to one of the 3 players waiting there unmarked with an open goal in front of them.

So, actually WGYG = football?

WGMG: We played some dandynong-s-cum and he gave our team a red card, coz he thought the ball hit our player on the arm when it just hit him in the chin FFS - and the linesmen literally had his flag up everytime the ball passed halfway FFS, we came back and drew in the last min which was pree good. {+Pisschugging faggot linesmen+}

Had the same problem today with my girls. Ref would pull up every single little tiny foul throw for us but would let them get away with murder :lol:

Thought we had got away with a 2-1 win until he decides to give a penalty for a handball against us, even though it was handballed by an attacking player, and the player even admitted she was the one who handballed it.

Safe to say I wasn't happy and now I'm off to a disciplinary hearing on Monday :lol:

We lost as well - went 2-0 up and then completely threw it away to lose 4-2. All of their goals were just the result of horrible defending - GK kick out straight to them, CB miscontrolling in the box instead of just clearing, was so frustrating. Our entire backline was shocking, shanking clearances everywhere which didn't let us control possession.

Re second point: Had the same thing today. Selfish players are so frustrating. Just pass the ball ffs.

WGMG: The fact that i've reached the point where I would happily walk away from my uni course just a Semester and a Half from earning my Bachelor's. The only thing stopping me is that I would lose my Centrelink payments if I did. If I can find a job that pays me the same/more in the next month or so, I'm leaving.
