WGMG: I can't get chicks.

WGMG: Having an exam at 10am on a Saturday. I am just about ready to knife someone.

WGMG: We only won 3-2 against 9 players.
WAGMG: Getting a Red Card after scoring a goal.

For what?

Their CM had been hassling me all game and I said "Suck my dick you fucking gay **** in hell, that's what skill can do"

WGMG: Lost 2-1, don't know where to begin, we should have been 5-0 up at half time, we were just typically Arsenal, all build up, no goal. We were 1-0 up at half-time, I was playing like a gun on my return, the left wingers couldn't get past me. Second half, we let a goal in against the run of play. The other side start to lift and suddenly they break through hit the bar, bounces down to the striker, our keeper's got no chance. In I come from the other side of the pitch to put in a game saving tackle, striker is so pissed off. A few seconds later, I put in a great over the top ball to the guy that's been playing right back while I've been away and you can tell he's a defender, takes a touch when he just needs to hit and arguably our best chance of the games has gone. Just a few minutes later they attack again with about 2 minutes to go break through on goal all I can do is slide in hoping for the best, miss everything, ball, player, everything, little fuck that only just committed a rediculous dive a few minutes does the same again, ref takes it hook, line and sinker, FUCKING WANKER! I suppose you can guess what happens next.

WAGMG: I'm the only one in my team, in fact most teams in the comps that actually shakes the ref's hand after every match, today was no different, gave some downright stupid desiscions but I still shake his hand. No one else does this, really pisses me off that my team has no respect for these refs no matter how shit they are.

All these ref stories are bringing back memories.
I remember in Under 14's, we were playing this team who were just above us in the league. Score at 1-0 to us when their right winger tried to roulette me. I stayed where I was, got the ball and he threw himself to the ground, ref gives penalty. 10 minutes later, they crossed the ball into the box and it bounced to the back post. Same right winger sticks his hand out and diverts it past our keeper. Keeper and left back are up in arms, linesman is flagging for a handball, but the ref ignores him and awards the goal. First time I ever called anyone a c... (the winger, not the ref)
Last years grand final was pretty poor. They gave it some kid who looked about 18. For their second goal, our goalie has a hand on the ball, about to bring it in, when their forward bundles him into the net. Goal awarded, and our goalie landed on his hand badly. Which was doubly worse considering the doctor told him he'd done a ligament in his finger and wasn't meant to be playing. Later, we pulled back to 2-2 and we get a throw in good position. Throw in, flick on, goal. But the ref decided the taker had put his foot over the line and the linesman didn't say anything on the matter. 5 minutes later, same thing happened for them, but their goal was allowed to stand, even though the guy clearly had his foot over the line. Parents watching the game to ours were even yelling at the ref.
WGMG: People who score nearly every shot in basketball. One guy went 12-14 from the field today.

You got sent off for that? The majority of players in my competition would have got sent off with that ref.
That's a five week suspension isn't it, or is that only if it is directed at the ref?

What grinds my gears are trollers that have nothing to offer but criticism to others that are trying to do a decent job. JF im talking to you.

We keep getting told they're coming down very hard in our comp, but I haven't had any problems with it so far. A few power-hungry refs flashing yellows for swearing but no lengthy suspensions or anything.

WGMG: I'd like to see football executives modelling shirts of the teams they own; I reckon it'd be great for a laugh and make supporters feel better about the ownership of their club.
Imagine Frank Lampard and Florent Malouda modelling the Chelsea away kit, having a laugh with Abramovich who's dressed in the shirt and a pair of jeans...

I reckon it's be a nice touch, and show a much more human side of these stoney-faced moneybags sorts.

A player in my team was lucky a couple of weeks ago. He got sent off for being yellow carded twice after a foul. The first was for bad mouthing the ref after he didn't give a foul and the ref let play go on. Our player then went into a hard tackle which the ref decided was also a yellow and gave him both yellows at once. We were told if the ref decided to give the cards the other way around or a straight red he would of had 5 weeks on the sideline instead of one.

I think it's 5 weeks if aimed at the ref. The coach and I are under the impression I just get the one week.

Interesting... I think one of the lads in the Gymea team we faced will be in trouble... he got two yellows, both for swearing... The first one was early on and then right at the end when we scored our 5th he said something, not sure if it was directed at the ref or not, but it very well could've been, he was about 2 yards away from the ref... but yeah, got a second yellow and was sent off.

I was under the impression swearing was a straight red now?

Dunno... it seems pretty inconsisent. On that note:

WGMG: The ref today. Was so horrible. Dunno if you guys have ever had him, but he looks like a younger kid, dark skin, straight hair, kinda liek south american looking. God, so bad. Every 50/50 challenge he'd pull up for a foul. Gave free kicks for nothing. So horrible.
