But for UEFA if you ask really nicely at the reception (''I came all the way from Australia to see this place'' :) ) they let you in to see the trophies and stuff, pretty cool i did it a few years ago we i went. Its about a 10 minute drive from Geneva CBD to Nyon. FIFA's in Zurich, not to mention. :P[/quote About an hour's drive :) .

dale1878 wrote:I may just visit FIFA. What's the terminal velocity of an uncooked chicken egg? x'' + kx' - g = 0 You want x" = 0 It depends on the mass of the egg (g) and the drag on the object (k). I'm too tired to think about it. I'm not one to generally bring my personal life with the fairer sex onto the forum, but I needed to write this out and think about it and see what some people think... So, WGMG: I've been going out with this girl off and on for a while now and really enjoying it. We just go out for dinner and a movie and kick back and talk shit. It's brilliant in how non-committal and relaxed it is. But tonight she seemed to suggest a couple of times that I should ask her to take things a step further. I like her and her company is awesome, she's hot as too which is an added bonus. My problem is whether it's worth risking the status quo to go for it. So forum, do I risk it for the biscuit?

Make sure you're both ready for it, and make sure that you are certain she wants to take it a step further. If you really like her, go for it. on that note, i normally do bring my problems to the forum, and thats because my way of dealing with shit. So sorry to bother any of you but this is really the only place i can let my anger out. WGMG: Women. Girls who don't understand how scary, how nervous it is for guys to work up the courage to ask them out. Who don't understand the pain they deal out when you ask someone how they fell about you, and all they can fucking do is smile and say "sorry we're friends but..." and then walk off to meet her friends. I didn't even ask for a minute of her fucking time, to do something I 3was shitting myself about. Yet she can't see that. She's too uninterested, like it seems EVERY OTHER FUCKING GIRL OUT THERE, in me. Its always the same with girls. I'm fucking sick of being treated like crap by them. Every time, it happens and yet i always fucking forget. I hate it so much, that no girl out there can find the decency within to treat me with some damn respect and not be a fucking dog. i have been screwed over so many times, I've given up counting. Douchebag. Couldn't even give a damn. /rant

I find it difficult to 'read the play' so to speak and have a serious conversation  sydneycroatia58 wrote:I guess it all hinges on what kind of biscuit it is. The US (which obviously isn't in Europe, despite what they think), then Iceland, England, Ireland, France, Germany, Czech Rep, Austria, Italy, Cote d'Azur Spain, then over to Istanbul and through to Singapore or KL. I have just started planning my trip, so far only really know Im flying into London spending about a week in the U.K to see some friends and family than flying out of Paris. In between it looks like Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Krakow, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Venice, Rome than fly to Portugal do Portugal and Spain than fly to Paris. Thats the rough plan for this week anyway, would also love to try and fit a week in Egypt depending on time and money

I wanted to go to Budapest, but I'd rather not spend days on trains to Venice. :(

I've gotta agree, there's no point dicking around (pardon the pun) for her to just end up with someone else. This could be the beginning of something very good, afro.

Edited by thewestisland: 16/6/2011 11:29:26 AM It's not about ego so much as enjoying the status quo. Non-committal-ness is pretty cool. That said, the one night stands are out of season at the moment. I think she's worth it, but screwing things up with women is something I do very well and very easily  Quote:I've gotta agree, there's no point dicking around (pardon the pun) for her to just end up with someone else. The whole thing's precarious and one of the things I'm outright bad at. Needs a good nights sleep to mull it over. Erebus wrote:Can't live with them, can't kill them. Was it for an essay? Ask another teacher to remark it.

WGMG: Having black hair now instead of blue. Shit isn't working with my foster mum so I have to move to Sydney most likely to live with my uncle and it's probably better if I don't go to a new school with blue hair.

afromanGT wrote:What's wrong with blue hair? Shit gets you noticed. I WANT IT BACK RIGHT NOW  I dunno, just think it's better if I don't rock up to a Western Sydney school with blue hair. Plus my cousins go to a private school so if I end up going there I'll have to get rid of it anyway.
