And when you put the fact that they're 16 year old girls into it, oh, along with this thing called the law... aaaaaaannnnnd? I'm sure when I was 16, we all drove around with our mates who were lucky enough to have their restricted. Boys and girls! In time you will start to see the broad nature of New Zealand's profound drug culture. Did you know that over 70% of New Zealanders between 15 and 21 have used cannabis at least once? So? These are people that I care about, and I don't want to see them getting into trouble over stupid things.

Govt. research indicates that close to 20% of the population (16-64) are regular users. KiwiChick1 wrote:So? That said, it's common knowledge that there's a huge stoner culture over there. Most of what I know about pot I learnt from kiwis and the time I spent over in NZ. As stated above, if you fail to learn from mistakes then you were probably a fuckwit in the first place. afromanGT wrote:I've always found Dakta's stuff to be interesting but he tries very hard to skew the figures IMO. Here's a better one. 43% of males and 27% of females between 18-24 had used it in the preceeding 12 months. Quite hard to interpret, but still indicates a significant number of users.

The thing is, that's NZ so that's like...six people. :P That figure is significantly higher than in australia though. And most countries. I reckon the only place you'd find higher usage rates would be in californian universities.

You should be fighting the power rather than getting annoyed about your friend bucking the trend.

WGMG: Customers.
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

WGMG: My friend is almost certainly going to have to have a major knee operation which will rule her out of sports for years and destroy a promising fencing career. I feel so powerless.

I assume she's 15 like yourself. At 15 beingout for 12 months isn't the end of the world. It's far from helpful, but if you've got the natural ability and the drive you can get there. The dangerous ages to be injured are 10-12 and 17-19.

Something that significant must have had a pre-existing problem there already. That's rough as.

Which she wants to do, but the doctors have told her if she does, she will most likely have above problems by the time she is 18. Seems i was a bit misinformed.

I've done that in Canberra when they played "Parklife" and called it new music. Oh dear.
