Lucas Paw Paw ointment is brilliant for that as well. I used to get dry lips all the time in winter. If I ever get them now, I just put paw paw ointment on them and it goes away.

You can't push people to tell you things, sometimes they have to come to you. It would be silly to blame yourself for something that you don't have any control over in reality. If she wanted you to know she'd probably have told you. Don't beat yourself up over it.
