martyB wrote:Obviously you're not adroit in presentations, and I'm not a particularly great presenter either, but last semester during my presentation I experienced something similar. So I singled that person out and asked him a question relating to the topic. It got me marks for interacting with the audience, and marks for making the lecturer laugh. Although it wasn't quite the same as your presentation in the sense that it was only this one guy near the front in a theatre of about 80 students. :P
In the future, maybe try to ignore the audience in the sense that you're not trying to impress them but the teacher instead. Surely you've sat through presentations or speeches that would put you to sleep, although you're too courteous to do so.
Edited by martyB: 30/7/2011 12:07:54 AM Haha, that's good advice. Knowing my luck, I'll ask them the one question that they did listen in for

WGMG: Advertisements for bras during late night coverage of Formula 1. Really don't think they are hitting their target audience there.

Actually, that's a good audience, guys not knowing dick about bras means that they're going to be highly suggestible brand-wise and could sway their wife/girlfriend's opinion. WGMG: My friend was told by the coach that he'd be playing with my Division 2 team this week, instead of the crap Divison 3 team. Team sheet was e-mailed out to the players, and he wasn't on it. coach has backtracked because he still isn't properly registered yet, and he thinks it too risky they will check if he plays Division 2. Gutted.

I guess they are expecting Cesc to be sold. Also pretty funny when they can't even get the formation right. I'd also have Ramsey ahead of Nasri in the middle. Not to mention that we won't be buying a LB so why even bother speculating about Enrique
