keepersball wrote:WGMG The 2011 NSW SUper League grand finals are going to be played at Cooke Park, an absolute dud of a ground. We've played at some amazing pitches this season, yet we had to play at the ground with next to no parking,no grandstand, no shade etc. And saying that, we don't have to have it played at a Super League ground. Last year they were playd at Jensen Park, Bankstown, a Premier League home ground, which was perfect. I can't believe we have to play there, so absolutely p*ssed  VPL GF is at AAMI Park. Add on top of that we have a shooting session tomorrow and I won't be able to dive to my left unless I want to be in agony :x

Owen Hargreaves was looking after Owen Hargreaves. If you, as an injury ravaged player, get offered a contract that's twice the length and double the wages of any other offer out there, of COURSE you're going to take it!
Hargreaves was one of the few United players I didn't completely hate and I can understand his decision.

I'm more surprised they offered him a contract more than anything.

When you've got money to burn, it's worth the risk. And really, he's only there as cover for when Toure is at the cup of nations.

I don't understand the hate for Owen Hargreaves. It's not like he's a United fan. This a guy who offered to play for United for free, they turned it down so he moved on. It's on an appearance based deal so It's hard to say it's about the money really.

There's no club who wouldn't have him on a pay as you play deal though, is there?

WGMG: This guy having a massive crush on me. I just want him as my friend, I'm not interested in him as anything more. Also, his sister (who I'm best friends with) would totally kill me if I ever even thought of dating him.

I've known him for a couple of years. He was keen on me ages ago, but I hadn't seen him for a while, then I hung out with him at the ball and again on Tuesday, and now he really really likes me again. I'm just not interested in him like that.

Just be firm with him and tell him how it is. Be honest about it, but sound sincere as well. WGMG: Documentary writing in English.

WGMG: Ron Paul fapsters. He's not gonna do shit even if he does get elected
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

To be fair, it gives credit where credit's due. I don't see why someone who writes their own music should be given the same amount of recognition as fucking Britney Spears' talent.

That's fair enough, but i meant that it was a sad day when the majority of solo vocalists weren't writing their own lyrics.

Just because you have a great voice doesn't mean that you have the ability to write chart-topping song lyrics. Everyone has their own talents.

When you think about it, the most successful songs of all time have had really simple lyrics. Four or five lines, tops.
In recent times: Bonkers, Warp, Party Rock Anthem or that fucking Mick Jagger song all have five or so unique lines in the song. The most successful songs are ones that are easy to remember. And that's just off the top of my head.
Often people get song lyrics stuck in their had, but it's only one line. That's FAR more effective if it's 20% of the song's entire content.
I'm not arguing for it by a long shot. Korn's Y'all want a single video pretty well sums up the music industry these days. But I can understand why it's the way it is - people are stupid.
