Agree with Afro.. The amount of times i've had 'Party Rock is in the house tonight' or 'Everyday im shuffling' go through my head is crazy.

And now it's stuck in my head too. And I'm going to hear it another 10+ times tonight. Fucking shitty jukebox at work. Quote:Britney Spears used to have talent...although not in the musical area Being able to sit on a 10lb salami and not feel a thing is not a 'talent'. Either she stops talking to you (no big loss, really) or she tells you that she likes you too. Winning.

I used to think like that during school. Eventually told the girl I liked her and things went well.
You gotta risk it to get the biscuit.

They were never that good a friend to begin with then. I've had female friends tell me that they've had feelings for me and I've said that they're not my type to actually date and they've just stopped talking to me until I've sat them down and told them it's not a big deal. They get over it. Quote:Opposite thing happening with me. Why do guys not understand how to just be friends? I'll give you a hint: It starts with a P and ends with the word 'enis'.

afromanGT wrote:When you think about it, the most successful songs of all time have had really simple lyrics. Four or five lines, tops.
In recent times: Bonkers, Warp, Party Rock Anthem or that fucking Mick Jagger song all have five or so unique lines in the song. The most successful songs are ones that are easy to remember. And that's just off the top of my head.
Often people get song lyrics stuck in their had, but it's only one line. That's FAR more effective if it's 20% of the song's entire content.
I'm not arguing for it by a long shot. Korn's Y'all want a single video pretty well sums up the music industry these days. But I can understand why it's the way it is - people are stupid. I guess its just me and my tastes then.

Well it just stuffs up a perfectly good friendship. Especially when they ignore you after you have to tell them honestly that you're not interested in them back.

Try working in a pub where the average age of the patrons is ~45, and 'Love Shack - B52's gets played 5 or 6 times a night, and that's when the cover bands that's on doesn't play it! I started to hate the song, now I find it fucking catchy. I guarantee you I'll hear it 2-3 times tonight at work.

Guys can be pretty sensitive about that kind of stuff if they've got their hopes up. They'll man the fuck up and get over it though. Heineken, right now I'd rather hear Loveshack than Party Rock 10 times a night six out of seven nights.

Benjo wrote:WGMG: I think my phone is possessed. Sent a whole bunch of contacts a blank text message by itself. There's a really easy way to tell if your phone is possessed. What you do is you turn it over so the screen is facing the ground and the back is exposed, and if you look really carefully at the back and it looks like there is an apple logo on the back, it's possessed.

WGMG: Organising our Year 10 formal. Who knew that 150 teenagers could possibly be non-complient... Got an awesome function hall tentatively booked in Sebel Pier 1 at Darling harbour, but with no money showing up for deposits, and having already once begged for an extenstion with them, I can't see anything decent happening.

WGMG: 101 win streak ended by boosters and tryhard fanboy shittalking snipers all in one game
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.
