Shit, sounds like something out of hollywood, without the impending happy ending. I hope you manage to get through ok.

I'm pretty sure it's been made into a movie already. It's the kind of role played by Hugh Grant  Except in the whole 'speak now or forever hold your peace' thing he'd have said something and then run away with the girl and lived happily ever after. What a jerk Hollywood is.

WGMG: Too many thoughts, too much going on. I swear I just need a day to forget about everything, which unfortunately isn't really possible with exams next week.

My carpet is quite old and horrible, and traps all that sort of dirt and dust stuff so it's hard to suck up with the vacuum cleaner. Other than that, I don't live in a particularly dirty house, far from it in fact.

You shouldn't need to be on antihistamines on a daily basis though.

Okay, I'm just snapping here because no one in my house is awake for me to bitch to...
WGMG: People bitching about the shit battery life of smartphones. From what I understand, battery cell technology is not only lagging but simply cannot keep up with the changing electronics and network demands. Of course doesn't help when some of the said douchebags demand they be able to spend hours browsing a white-screened Facebook and watch YouTube video on-end.
On that note, given western society's high and increasing demand for consumer electronics, it seems doing a little bit of research into the technology behind devices people bitch about is too much to ask, fucking simpletons. I don't expect people to be experts, or even take interest, but you should at least seek answers/solutions to your problem rather than just ignorantly attempting to slam manufacturers. To me the term Digital Native is becoming increasingly ironic and 'consumer' is becoming synonymous with numpties.
/rant - feel much better

Quote:From what I understand, battery cell technology is not only lagging but simply cannot keep up with the changing electronics and network demands. The phones can go for three or four days if you don't use them. But the second you make a phone call, jump on a web browser or open up an app you're going to start burning through the battery, which is fucking pointless. The batteries simply can't keep up with the resources of the phones.

WGMG: Have to start going for a few runs a week. I'm getting too unfit. My hamstrings and calves are killing me. WGMG: People who go down Mt Ousley faster in the rain and mist than on a clear day. WGMG: Coming in to talk with a lecturer and finding out when I get here he was called to a meeting in Sydney just this morning. WGMG: School kids are on all the only computers I can use to do work on and I can't kick them off because it is some uni promotional workshop.

WGMG: Eat Paleo for over a year, lose a bunch of weight and do not get sick once. I stop eating Paleo for a few weeks out of convenience & sheer exhaustion after my daughter was born, and nearly immediately fall sick with the worst cold ever.
