WGMG: MASSIVE spiders! Especially when they are on the roof and you can't reach the c***s to smash them and your out of fly spray so all you can do is look at it!

I opened the fridge once when I was in Loganlea last year to find this massive arse spider getting its spider juices all over my vegetables, so the flyspray or the smashing wasn't an option, so I understand your pain.

Spiders = fucked

Some of my friends have taken to posting pictures of massive spiders they have encountered in their houses recently. One of them was telling me he found this big huntsmen in his room, left for a shower, came back and couldn't find it :lol: Eventually located it behind a picture, but still damn scary. I hate them as well. Not hugely arachnophobic, but can't say I'm a big fan.

He obviously subscribes to the "treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen" philosophy.

The other night I seen a huge whitetail spider crawling along my wall.. By the time I got up to kill it, it started crawling all around the cords behind my tv so couldn't really whack it.. Then it disappeared. They can't hurt much can they..8-[

:lol: I have a story from only a few days ago. When I opened the door to get into my house, there was a MASSIVE huntsman squished up against the side of the door. I thought it was dead, so I felt a little more comfortable to get it out with the ol' spider in jar method. But to my horror, as I was doing this, it sprang to life. It pretty much jumped from the door onto my jeans, to which I ended up taking my jeans off and chucking them out the front:lol: Only worked up the courage to retrieve them about an hour later.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad new, but they are. If one bites you if not treated immediately it goes gangrenous. When I was working as a laborer last year, the other guys on the site told me that, so I don't know if they were ribbing me, but I know their poisonous.


I'm the biggest arachnophobic. But now as bad as my gf. She shits herself over Daddy Longlegs, which I don't mind. Htae Huntsmens, and basically everything else.

I have a few good spider tales. My best one is from about 7 or 8 years ago. I was home with my nan, I was on the playstation, Nan was in the garden gardening, and all of a sudden I hear her call me. So I pause the game I was playing go out into the back garden, and my Nan is frozen like a statue. Confused, I asked her what was wrong, and she said there was something on her back, wasn't sure what it was and asked me to get it off. She slowly around and on her back was this Dinner-Plate sized huntsman that must have dropped/fallen out of the tree. Being the aracnaphobe I am, and not being able to deal with spiders bigger then a fingernail, I shat myself, and bolted back inside, screaming, ran right through the house, out the front door and up the road to the park, leaving my poor nan, who must have by now been terrified to deal with it.


Apparently she managed to get her top off, the spider was quite happy to stay on the shirt, and then she squashed it with the broom. Needless to say, when I worked up the courage to come home, she wasn't all that impressed.

There's been a few times when I've gone to take a shower, and there's been one clinging to the shower curtain. Needless to say, I don't shower that day, and am very nervous hopping int the shower for a few days afterwards. :lol:

Had a huntsman in my room the other night at about 4 am. Woke up the entire house trying to get rid of it. :lol:

Not a spider tale, but the other night after having a shower, a cockroach flew of the wall and ambushed me. It was dark in the hallway and i shat myself. It flew into my room and i spent an hour trying to find it. All of a sudden it came flying out of no-where at me, so i punched it. Then i hit it about 20 times with a shoe, but it was still alive. Down the toilet.

So fucking glad we don't have flying cockroaches in Melbourne...:shock:

A few years ago I came downstairs to find a massive spider on the wall.

An epic tactical battle ensued. I ended up using 7 shoes, two soccer balls, and half a can of Mortein, before I finally managed to sneak up behind it and defeat it in climactic fashion.

I fucking hate spiders.

Thank god I live in New Zealand :lol: The spiders we get over here are tiny.
