I have to wait until mid January for my results, I'd rather know them now tbh. Still very nerve-wracking. I should easily get into uni next year. It's just by how much i get in. I desperately want at least an 85.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the site crashed. WGMG: Dad's attitude about my potential ATAR. Doesn't think I'll get anywhere near three of my best friends. Admittedly, i probably won't (they got 95.6, 98.1 and 97.1), but I wish he'd have some confidence in me. I'm stressed at the moment, nice of him to make me feel worse.

At least he cares, I got an ATAR (well it wasn't ATAR 2 years ago) of 68.5 or something (I didn't really care about anything except my 2 sport classes at high school) and mine didn't rly care lol. Luckily I've picked it up at Uni.

WGMG: Scaling for ATAR. Got scaled down a bit in English, but went down 10% in Media, meaning I just passed. Even though I averaged 74 for the year at school.

AJohn wrote:WGMG: Adelaide are getting there shit together; why couldn't this happen AFTER the Phoenix game? I'm hopeful that that was just a temporary rise in form for the first match under a new manager, and that they'll fade back in this game and we can win! WGMG: Alex Smith being dropped from the squad! What the fuck!

WGMG: The NSW Licencing system. The test to get your full licence is nothing but a revenue raiser. How is remembering a bunch of statistics and touching the screen in a video game-like section of the test going to determine if I'm worthy or not of upgrading my licence?

Isn't it like a mix of the L's test and P2 test? They were both a joke plus they make you pay $39 or some shit like that plus 80 odd for the licence

They were both a joke plus they make you pay $39 or some shit like that plus 80 odd for the licence Yeah, the handbook says it's an 'advanced' version of a combination of the L's and P2 tests. The knowledge part of the test has more answers to choose from and they throw in a few questions about stats. In the HPT part of the test, you may need to touch the screen multiple times. The HPT thing is a load of bullshit. The videos have shocking resolution and you can't even see very far ahead like you normally would in a car. After reading that load of shit that is the handbook, next time I drive, I will remember "34% of new full licence holders' crashes involve being hit from behind." I could go on about this all day.

Fucking RTA. I read the handbook for the P2 test. What a joke that was. Still a year and a bit till I have to worry about full licence

WGMG: Facebook. I made an event for my birthday party at the beach and set it for my birthday, the 30th, which falls on a Friday. Made sure I had the right year and everything. And then today, I get people writing on the wall of the event, saying, "sorry mate, I've got work today so I can't make it". My news feed tells me the event is happening tomorrow. But the event tells me that it's happening TODAY. Ignoring the fact that Friday is the 30th, for some fucking reason Facebook believes the 30th is today. So I'm worried that some people have gone there today because that's what the event says, even though the event tab on the news feed displays the right time and day.

My mum could have stopped that shot. #-o He was caught having to move to his right with his body weight already shifting to the left, that's a difficult situation for any goalkeeper... or mum! Anyway, I still don't get what it's gonna take for you to be convinced my Szczesny  #-o Not to mention the fact that you're bringing this up after just one single incident.

Well...he has the worst defensive record of any team in the top 7...and only one team in the top half have conceded more goals.
Fair argument? Fair argument.

Fair argument? Fair argument. #-o That's down to our horror defensive efforts in the early part of the season. Obviously a big chunk of those goals were in the 8-2 loss. A match in which he was actually quite impressive and if it wasn't for him it could easily have been ten or more. A lot of those goals were down to our crap second string defense while others like Young's two were just cracking strikes. While obviously it's the goalkeepers job not to concede goals, sometimes the stats can be decieving, don't just judge him on how many he's conceded this season. Why are we talking football in ET?

I've done that before. The door was jammed and I was pulling on it and my hand slipped and flew into my face.
