I love watching the sun rise (on the very odd occasion that I'm actually awake for it). It's absolutely beautiful on top of a mountain.

This happened to me, only it was a female friend, so we got her to join in, and it was awesome.

WGMG: I'm really really worried about going to Christchurch, there's been about 14 significant quakes/aftershocks already today. I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep while I'm there.

I personally wouldn't want to be there for too long, there's guaranteed to be several earthquakes everyday. Have you ever felt an earthquake before?

:lol: It does as long as it's not destroying everything around you. I'm sure you'll be rather safe in Christchurch if you stay there, we've found a place that didn't have any damage from any of the quakes (or so they claim) which is good :)

I've been to Christchurch a few times after the big quakes. I drove down there to pick up a terrified friend after the February 23rd quake and it was nervewracking. I thought they would have eased up by 2012 but evidently not.

WGMG: My dad. His drinking and anger problems are the reason I moved out as soon as I could all those years ago. I had forgotten how bad it was. Can't wait till Brisbane.

I strongly doubt that there will be another massive deadly one but then again in recent days it's getting a lot more worrying. I'll be ringing my mates down there everytime stuff.co.nz updates.

And I'm off to Brissie on the 28th of January (I'm packing now because I am RUBBISH at packing). Doesn't mean I won't support the 'Nix though. I love Wellington a lot and the city means a lot to me, as much as Brisbane does. Combine with my love of football. Loganlea is a lot closer to Brisbane than Blenheim is to Wellington (as in I don't need to take a 3 hour ferry) so I can see more live games as well.

The thing I really hate is that you just don't know. I'm sure it'll be okay while I'm there, but it doesn't stop me worrying.

WGMG: Being woken up by my housemate and their friends at 1 this afternoon after getting to bed at 7 and being awake for 40 hours. It's starting to get on my nerves how often they're doing that.

WGMG: Someone we trust at work has gone through all our bags in the office at New Year's and stolen my ipod, stuff from my mate's bag and the contents of a female friend's purse (a good $700).

Watched the last season over the internet and ended up having to wait 2 weeks until my internet came back and then I would use a chunk of it watching the two episodes I missed and the third one on the day and megavideo would do that stupid "You have watched 72 minutes of video today" after only watching 25 minutes.
