There was this fat guy next to me on the train this morning who had the same thing going on, pretty gross, plus because he was fat he was impinging on my seat. That really GMG.

I fit quite comfortably within the confines of my seat

I'm avoiding going out in public until it's stopped being shit and peeling. Only one ear is peeling for some reason

Um...yeah, get over it. It's not like you're being racially abused or anything. One of my regulars at work is called Twig.

If you're getting teary over that you're not going to last long in High School.

On a sidenote, school policy on bullying is always bullshit. They're always afraid to get involved, as they never take sides.

If it's really bothering you, get your mum to pester the school, but like I said a lot isn't going to come of it from their half. The best you'll get is a change of class, or a offer to put you in a new school, or counseling. Aside from that it's all swept under the rug.

Just ignore them, or smarten up a little and try to outwit them. I know you're in Primary School so this may be a little difficult. At very worst, resort to better "Yo mumma" jokes. Can't beat 'em, join 'em, etc.

Either that, or take the Casey Haynes approach, fire the fuck up and go to the very point of killing the little shits.

If it's buggering up your self esteem, once you hit high school, and you're able to sign up to a gym - (most places will say you have to be 16-17, but sometimes a PCYC will let you sign up at 14 with Parental Consent) beef up a little. That way you'll also be able to pull hot chicks and do sex good, but use condoms, you hear me.

Just accept it Fulhamkid. My mate's call me [the] stick but as a joke, not in a rude way. I have accepted the fact that I will always be skinny and I can't really change that. I guess it makes up in height though, for me at least.

Well I believe he said he tried to do something. If it's bothering him to the point of not wanting to go to school any more, well then yes you can't just ''accept'' it but if it's less serious...

KC's got a point. In today's day and age if you're not a stick or just a few kilo's overweight, or showing any form of fat, you're going to be villified for being overweight, and that's possibly worse, as that'll lead to eating disorders and can drive people to the point of suicide.

Don't worry, it'll be nothing more then a phase - they'll get over the whole "stick" thing once you hit high school.

Exactly, being called skinny is a billion times better than being called fat.

But if this really is upsetting you, then make sure you do something about it, it's not worth letting your self esteem suffer.

I had more problems with bullies in primary school than high School, if it helps Fulhamkid. And when i look back, the primary school stuff was just gentle name calling which seemed like hell at the time, but now i look back and realize if i had just ignored them, it would have been a lot better.

All of the above and then some. If being skinny is your biggest problem then you've got it easy. Lots of people get bullied for being fat and the health problems that go with it. Being skinny is hardly anything to worry about. And what can you do about being skinny? Eat more? And become one of the fat kids that they make fun of? Nah dude, don't worry about it. When you get older you'll still be a normal build, while their metabolism catches up with them and then THEY'LL become fat. Inevitably you get the last laugh.

Working out at any age is very healthy for you, physically and mentally. If you work out before or during puberty the results will be fantastic and would give you a solid base for your adult years

There's a difference between building fitness and bulking up though. Things like cardio will benefit him, but building muscle is wasting time.

What afro said. It's not good for kids before 16 at the very minimum to join the gym because your still developing muscle mass over your body. If you start doing weights before your body's finished developing properly it's going to lead to problems later on in life.

WGMG: Australian bus fair tickets
WAGMG: People on buses. You know what's amazing about the invention of headphones? Other people, who just paid $4:50 for a bus-ticket, don't have to become incredibly rageful with your generic, and frankly brainless, rap and/or "dubstep" music playing at full volume from your iPhone behind me. You know how to use headphones? They plug into your iPhone and you put them into these amazing things we like to call ears, or is that too complicated a situation for you to be bothered to do that? Oh you're trying to let your friend listen to your music? Why not give him one of the headphones? Oh because he chose to sit three seats behind you yet still maintain a very loud conversation with very loud shitty music playing? \_/ my cup of care is empty, plug that shit up and get your fat-arse over to the back of the bus or fuck your friend.
