Just quietly, Marconi. I know how you feel. I was in the same pair of shoes you find yourself in. I know the feeling of fustration not being able to understand women, and wondering why they go for utter wankers who are there for themselves and not for others, instead of you. Trust me, you're not the only nice bloke out there whose morels are to treat women nicely and not objects of personal use.

It's not an easy feeling, and I know that sometimes it can feel like you're the only bloke out there. But believe you me, there's a women, or women out there who will be attracted to you for those reasons. Sure, they're like coming across a diamond in a coal mine, but they're out there. I know people hate me for mentioning her, but my missus is that woman (not for you, obviously) :p. That's why our relationship has grown in the last year and a half.

What you're feeling is the normal biological instinct every man on this planet possesses. It's natural to want to be able to fuck every hot chick you see. Marconi - These things happen. Chicks can be bastards and it always hurts those who are the nice guys because they care. When you care for something and you dont get that same feeling back, it hurts you more. Chicks unfortunately go for the wrong guy and often find out the hard way. Its got nothing to do with you being a nice person. You just have to keep your head up and move on, dont dwell on the stupid mistakes of others, just know that if you doing the right thing, it works out in the end, and when it does, it feels much better you would have ever thought.

Kiwichick - Pretty similar to listo, caring is something that is a good thing, some people will be bastards when you try to care and listen out and others will actually head your advice, just dont get upset when people do the former. You just need to keep doing the good things and keeping an eye out making sure they dont go off the rails, eventually people will realise that you caring is what they need.

I wasn't doing much better than Marconi when I was his age, I was having a bit of a dry spell and what not. The more you think about it and make a big deal out of it, the worse it gets. It brings down your confidence and makes you nervous with women.

But turning around and going "Fucking women, blah blah blah emo shit" doesn't achieve anything. You just gotta relax, keep at it and enjoy yourself. Women have a shit-tonne of power in this situation and you exacerbate that by being all dejected and whiney.

WGMG: Football pitches that are harder and more unforgiving then playing on concrete. Played on a pitch this afternoon that was dead grass all over the top of it (rather surprising given the amount of rain in Sydney in the last 12 months!!!) and the soil was hard and compacted like concrete. Gashed my right knee open in a save this afternoon that I just know is now going to start the vicious cycle of knee gashes. It'll heal for a couple of days, I'll re-open it at training on Wednesday nights, only for it to begin scabbing over again, then re-rip it open that Saturday.

One of the few things I didn't miss about not playing. :lol:

Yea I did a slide tackle a couple weeks ago and regretted it instantly. Still got a huge scab on my leg.
