WGMG: My arsehole neighbour just spend a good 45 minutes playing the same 4:4 drum beat over and over and over. Worse deja vu ever. Surely if you're living in an apartment block you buy an electric drumkit...

MidfieldMaestro wrote:WGMG: When Rugby Union matches turn into a penalty goal contest. Really shits me off. Was a good game when both sides were actually aiming for tries. Im a Union man too over league, but when games come down to penalties and it can be annoying. They need to do something to fix it up so teams are encouraged to go for more tries.

WGMG: One of those days where I'm totally over the same thoughts chasing themselves around and around my head...I could try to sleep but that's just been making things worse the last couple of days.

WGMG: Three of my lectures this semester are on the same. Which wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a three gap in between each of them. Looks like I'll be missing a fair few and watching them online.

Unfortunately it had slipped my mind that both of the final group games are played at the same time :(

Let's try that again. WGMG: Three of my lectures this semester are on the same day. Which wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a three hour gap in between each of them. I'm sick of backpackers coming into my bar and asking why we're not showing the game. "Because I didn't think to persuade the owner to subscribe for the month before he went away on holiday" is a lame as explanation.

I'm doing a history major and lectures are pretty useless in the sense that most of the lecture content can be taken in much more quickly from the comfort of home with a few wikipedia searches, tute readings have all the insightfull intellectual stuff.

There's only a handful of degrees that really warrant lectures - hardcore sciences, medicine, etc. Quote: from the comfort of home with a few wikipedia searches Now that you've said that...you know that you have to go back and mess with the relevant wikipedia articles to fuck with next year's students :P

I actually find the lecture slides to be better than the lectures themselves. listening to someone drone on for 40 minutes is distracting. The slides provide the main points and those ideas are expanded on in the tutorials.
