I do read the A-League part of the forum and have a good laugh at some of the piss taking every now and then, but local football is right up there with the Australian football section from this forum.

The stupidity makes my blood boil. Fuckwits on the herald website also going on about how the Jets youth being in the league is detrimental cos they bring their own drinks and never buy from the canteens. Fucken really?

I think bringing in a Jets U/18 team in 23's is brilliant. Many NSWIS players would be lost to other places otherwise and lets face it, won't develop as much at a state league club than if they're in an elite environment. Those idiots there need to get out and see NSWIS and Jets Youth play and see how bloody well they play. It's these guys that are our future in the A-League.

It's probably the same fuckwits who say we need more locals in our senior team. Well, all this is working towards producing enough quality to fill the team with locals. Really hope all elite sides win the GF and stick it up em. /rant.

After failing to sucker me in to it 3 times (I could see the disco lights on your dashboard fuckwit) he then decided to tail me for about 10 minutes trying to see if I stepped over the speed limit by a fraction!

I mean fuck, I had 2 kids in the backseat, why would you think I would go racing people in the wet with 2 kids in the backseat?

Poor form by the police there, what I'm really surprised about though is that they would go to such lengths as using a VW Golf GTI as an undercover vehicle. Only see the Commodores and Camry's here in SA (I know Vic used to use WRX's though).

wgmg: my mum's insistence on my mrs and i having babies, and many of them, already. she wants us to have 5 kids, and tells us regularly. and we're only 23, and just about to get married, and only just bought a house, and the mrs only just got out of uni & is only 6 months into her physio career.

whenever the mrs feels the slightest bit off, mum instantly says "you're pregnant" and starts jumping in joy. cool your jets woman!

we're not going to cave in to her pressure, and we have eventual plans in around 3-5 years to have kids (and we only really want to have 2), but it's just the consistent badgering that is the gear grinder.
