WGMG: Ok so after I split up with my ex I had to move house, so I moved in with a couple of friends from uni and sent in my rent application straight away (this was 7/8 weeks ago). They still haven't accepted or declined the application so for the rent inspection tomorrow I have to pack up all my shit and make it look like I haven't been living there and I have to go stay at a mates place for a day or 2.

It's such a fuck around, I had nowhere else to go so I HAD to stay here and it's taken them so long to look at my application without even getting back to me on it so I don't even know if I'll be approved to properly move in even though I have a perfect rent history from the 3 other places I've lived in Perth over the last 2 years and a clean record in every other conceivable way. It's so damn frustrating that I need to pack my stuff up and make myself scarce when my application's been in limbo for 7 weeks :(

Obviously they're ignoring you. It was nice of facebook to tell people when your inbox message was 'seen' and thus inform you of when you're being ignored.

WGMG: Having to vote for players player in my team. Everyone had a shit season. I can't really give it for attendance either since we were only able to have 4-5 training sessions all year and I was the only one who didn't miss at least a quarter of the season. I gave my vote to a player who broke his leg in the first round and didn't play again until the final round because he turned up to most of our matches even though he couldn't play.

wgmg: getting other people's sh*t dumped on me at work.

so i'm the lead designer on a project. we're so ridiculously busy, and we've been so understaffed in design for years now that it's not funny. so the f***tard of a project manager in charge of my project decides to delegate design work to some of the other designers, which i'm cool with. the problem, though, is he completely leaves me out of the loop, and the first sniff i get of [this component] being designed by someone else is when it's wrong and requires rework. then the f***tard of a project manager is ramming all these rework folders down my throat, saying how sh*t i've done the design, and that it needs to change asap. and this morning he sends a mass-group-email-which-includes-the-big-bosses-on-it email this morning, saying how this particular component is completely farked & there's going to be huge delays while "he fixes up all his design issues". i haven't even seen the component before in my life, until this email. the guy he got to design it wasn't even included on the email!

replying to everyone back with my opinion is only going to start a huge email war, and the project managers are already angry enough & have already lost enough friends around the place for me to care to bury them further. i've organised to sit down with the big boss & talk about the lack of management our project managers are doing, and how they're seemingly trying to smear other peoples reputations around the place on the daily.

and i've looked at what the issues with the design are - the project manager provided sfa scope on what he wanted to the other designer, and now wonders why all these things he wanted aren't included in the component.
