They eventually had to cut the needle and take it out in halves. Been thinking of donating for some time, think ill go one day at uni.

Donating blood is definitely something I'd like to do in the future.

Ive seen first hand and know of people who needed blood, and i would hate for anyone in my family and myself to be in that situation and there be no blood.

O- is the universal blood type so if you know you're of that blood type - get to a donation centre ASAP. there's a huge shortage on it.

WGMG: Being an introvert, wants interaction when alone but gets annoyed when around people. GENIUS
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Not sure my blood type, if i ask them at the donation centre could they tell me? it'll probably cost you a needle-prick to the finger - which is what they do before EVERY donation to test iron levels anyway.

WGMG: F*CKING TICKETEK/PARRA STADIUM/WSW/SFC/WHOEVER THE F*CK WAS IN CHARGE OF THE TICKET ALLOCATION FOR THE 1ST DERBY
Who's f*cking brilliant idea was to allow each member to f*cking buy 10 tickets per transaction. Effectively, the first 300 could snap up every ticket for the SFC supporters. For f*cks sake, does logic lack in some people?

The stomach acid wears away at your tooth enamel which is worse than temporarily gaining weight. Just a question, how much do you eat for breakfast (on average)?

I know. I only eat a piece of fruit for breakfast. I realise that's hardly filling, but I have acid reflux problems, and if I eat anything like toast, cereal, etc, I'll feel crap for the rest of the day.

There's your problem. One piece of fruit is NOTHING, you really need to eat some more at breakfast. If you can't have toast or cereal it's not the end of the world. Fruit salad, yoghurt with berries/seeds, eggs... There's lots of good food you can have. TRUST ME.

KiwiChick1 wrote:I'll see, but I'm just not able to stomach much in the morning. A lot of people have this problem, the only way is to try and force it down in the morning. Trust me, it's better to force down 200g of natural yoghurt and 100g of berries in the morning and feel full rather than eat nothing and then get overcome by hunger and eat way too much later on. Eventually you'll get used to eating in the morning and you'll be "normal" (for lack of a better term).

Edited by keepersball: 11/9/2012 04:19:20 PM WAGMG: "The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers are very happy to announce that the exclusive opportunity for Wanderers FC Members to buy additional tickets to ALL this season's matches (including the first Sydney Derby) tomorrow. " If I somehow don't pick up Sydney supporter tickets, I'm sure they'd be snapped up by WSW members.
