True. But people also need to realise that the internet is full of people who will disagree with you. Full of people who may be having just as bad, or worse days, and who may respond to you poorly.

And so while, yes, it is nice to have a place to get things off your chest, realise that not everyone is going to pat you on the back and tell you it's alright, and maybe expect to be confronted with a disagreeable opinion.

What ever happened to the days when talent was discovered without these reality shows. People who had to start out with small gigs or in the pubs or something and got signed by a label who was having a drink one night or something?

Some of the people on these shows are just so crap and you got judges who are giving their opinion and half of them also are useless and washed up and shouldnt really be considered talent. Like Lady Gaga is apparently on Idol now. The performers also put on these fake "thank you guys, love you all" speeches.

That may be. But you also have to remember that this forum is NOT a diary, and the internet is full of people who are here purely to disagree with or annoy you.
