Early/mid 20's maybe? I know it doesn't sound like much to Australians  But I don't enjoy heat because I don't like wearing short clothes.

You're right, it doesn't. :p The weather forceast tells me it's going to be up near 40 degrees out my way on Saturday. But yeah, my ideal temp would be 17-18 degrees.

I don't know how you do it man. Wasn't it like 40 degrees in Melbourne yesterday?

WGMG: So fucking hot in my room last night. Up around 30 degrees all night. Broken sleep was the result. Feel pretty shitty this morning.

I remember a couple of years ago the mercury rose to 48 degrees down here, now THAT was bad.

I don't really care weather it's hold or cold tbh. They both bring different pros, and I sleep pretty well now (I have a good, portable air con device). I do like it humid though, and I know I haven't experienced 35 degrees and almost 100 percent humidity like those up north have, but I like wet weather.

Most people do. I haven't experienced extreme heat and humidity though like Shaker and others would have, and i'm sure i'd hate it, but down here, I tend to prefer the high humidity over the dry.

The guy across the road was trying to finish his roof. It was too hot for him to hold the nails so he put them in a metal bucket of water. After about 5-10 minutes he was too hot so he came down and sat and jumped in his pool. He went back up about 15 minutes later and the water in the bucket was boiling and all the nails had rusted. We gave him a thermometer to see how hot it was on his roof. It was 69 degrees.

On hot days at my house there can be about a 20 degree difference between upstairs and downstairs because there is a spring that runs under our house that keeps the temperature downstairs at around 18-20 degrees

The mercury has hit 40 degrees on the thermometer on our clothesline. Strangely enough, it doesn't feel that hot but I'd rather be sitting inside watching the cricket.

Where you from? High humidity in low heat isn't comparable to high humidity in high heat. As the mercury rises the water holding capacity of the atmosphere increases, magnifying the effect of humidity. You barely notice high humidity in temperatures less than 25 degrees. I'd take a dry 40+ degree day over a 35 degree 100% humidity day every time.

Was the thermometer in the sun or in the shade? Temperature is always taken in the shade. I went outside briefly earlier, didn't feel like 40 degrees.

Yeah I acknowledged that when I said 'I haven't experienced extreme heat and humidity though like Shaker and others would have, and sure i'd hate it, but down here, I tend to prefer the high humidity over dry'.

I'm in Melbourne, where the mercury rises but the humidity is normally quite low. I guess I worded it incorrectly. I like wet weather over dry. The last few summers people have been complaining about the wet weather due to the La Nina effect. I've enjoyed it more than El Nino years.

No it doesn't make him a bad person. But the fact he didn't even have the courtesy to tell you he didn't like you, in addition to a lot of other things, makes him a grade A cunt.

You really need to realise you are worth more than him. Don't glorify him and act like there's nothing wrong with him, when he sounds like one of the biggest douchebags I've ever heard of.

I didn't get the chance to see him as anything else.

That's bullshit and you know it. It's one thing not to be able to get over someone, but to say that person is 'perfect' after being a dick to you is wrong.

Just because he didn't want me anymore doesn't make him a bad person. Of course I realise he's not even remotely interested, but I still find him attractive.

Shit happens.

The mercury has hit 40 degrees on the thermometer on our clothesline. Strangely enough, it doesn't feel that hot but I'd rather be sitting inside watching the cricket.
Was the thermometer in the sun or in the shade? Temperature is always taken in the shade. I went outside briefly earlier, didn't feel like 40 degrees.

Hmm, didn't know that. Would explain why I didn't think it was that hot. The clothesline was in the sun.
