WGMG: Shit, nervy, anxious feeling as I'm 6 and a half hours out from getting my HSC mark for one subject WAGMG: The fuckwits at CityRail/ShittyRail scheduled trackwork on the Newcastle line for Sydney FC's away trip. WGMGTFM: There was trackwork there last week too. What else has to be done on the bloody line. The weekend before Christmas isn't the most ideal option to put track work, with families going on holidays.

I would love to play a round of golf, my mates though are not really the golfing type so i wouldnt have anyone to go with. Its hard enough getting them to the driving range. yeah i only play about once a year due to no motivation to go alone, no motivation to organise to go with anyone & barely anyone asking me to go with them (because they go about as regularly as i do). i'm a pretty terrible player as consequence of never playing, but i enjoy the walk & chat that accompanies playing golf. Yeah, thats the sense i get about golf. Its a nice relaxing enjoybale sport. Good way to start the day with some friends having a chat and enjoying the sunlight and nature around. A bit like fishing in a way, only less smelly and effort requiring a bit. My mates love fishing so we do that more often than not, but would really love to try out golf. Would probably suck though. Been thinking of getting a driver for the driving range but not sure where to look or what to look for. That could be golf's new marketing slogan: "Just like fishing. Only less smelly."

wgmg: external quality audit getting done at work today to see if we're maintaining our quality procedures which got us iso accredited. the fact the audit is happening isn't what grinds my gears, but getting dumped on my desk a shitload of other peoples work which i need to make look like they've followed our quality procedures, when they clearly haven't, does grind my gears. apparently i'm the only one who actually does follow our procedures around here, and clearly show that in my work, so get left with tidying up everyone's shitpile of a mess so when the auditer comes looking it'll seem we're all working to procedure, and hence can keep our accreditation.

I quite enjoy it when the neighbors have an old domestic. You sit in the back garden with a beer, and it's like following a tennis match - back and forth, back and forth.

More a formality than anything. Smashing through it now. The graduation ceremony is soon...I think. You're done with your degree too now, yeah?

Been all done except industrial experience since halfway through the year which has been most annoying. I will know tomorrow or Friday if a company can take me on for it in January leading into full time work when I graduate. [-o< [-o<

Good luck then, hope you get something for January. :)
I imagine it's been pretty hard in the last 6 months or so to find employment in the engineering industry cos it's fallen on hard times. Even though my work's been happy with me, they can't give me a full time contract cos there's very little work coming through the doors, so they've kept me on as a casual so they don't lose me and told me to come back in January to start working again.

When I read your first post, I thought (and was hoping this wasn't the case), that you'd botched the catch-up. At least you'll get to see her again, I guess. WGMG: 30 degrees in my room at 4am this morning. Wake up at 9am because it is so ridiculously hot. In summer, my room is like a sauna box.

How long has it been since the two of you broke up? About 2 months. I made a post about the situation in the Love thread around the time.
