Coolies :) $15 for a ticket I think, though I doubt I'll understand much of what's going on :lol: my understanding of afl: have to punch it to teammates if moving ball by hands. every 10 steps you have to bounce the ball on the ground (like basketball but more steps). if a dude catches a kick, he gets a free kick. middle goal is worth 6 or 7, two side goals worth 1. can score with any part of your body. an own goal is worth 1 for the opposing team. game commences with a big bounce that two people compete for, similar to basketball. if it goes out it's thrown in by a ref - similar to union. you can tackle, and jump on peoples backs to get higher to catch it. i don't think it's much more hectic than that

Kiwichick, I reckon it'd be worth a look, it's a game with enough going on it that a neutral or casual observer can enjoy it. If you know any Aussies it might help to go with them in case you need anything explained though
