I never got my head around how I was meant to distinguish between the in text references two texts written by the same author in the same year using the Havard system. (Lastname 1997)

yeah farrand in regards to referencing my advice is to do it as you go, rather than leave it till the end.

a lot of my friends used to say "i'll leave the referencing till the end, that way i can focus on writing my essay" but a lot of them found that the thing they referenced, and based entire paragraphs of writing on, they either couldn't use or was unreferencable, and hence had to re-write. i liked to sort the referencing out as i went, and it meant that at the end of the essay i didn't have this huge task (referencing) to complete in full, and if i did leave it to the end it'd always be half-assed as i cbf doing it anymore.

Karl Oyston is essentially the Mr. Krabs of football. He only signs managers on a one year rolling contract, he doesn't fork out money for anything (transfers in areas we need it, the god-awful pitch, new managers), and he promised a training ground for us awhile ago yet there's still no sign of it ever happening. We got lucky with Holloway and the Premier League run, but look at it this way. Instead of swooping for Nigel Adkins at whatever the cost, we went for an all too desperate to coach again Paul Ince. He could be a good manager for us, but right now, in a bit of a relegation scrap, we didn't need a "might be a decent coach perhaps" manager, we needed a proven manager to help us out of the heap Appleton left us in. And Bloomfield Road of late keeps going from bad, to worse. We can't play our brand of football properly on our own turf because Oyston can't be fucked reaching into his pocket.

Not like you can really go out either with the Good Friday licencing restrictions. I forgot it was good friday. Now I'm even more annoyed that I don't get double pay.

WGMG: Having waited three years for my girlfriend's overly controlling, 22 year old sister to move out with her boyfriend to his farm it finally happened two weeks ago. Yay, dont need to worry about her anymore. Until it turns out there is a massive fire south of Ballarat and their whole farm goes up in flames. Guess who will be moving back in. Gotta feel sorry for losing the whole farm though, all that money gone. People are even saying it might have been deliberately lit.

WGMG: Work. They've set our nightfill shifts back an hour, from 7-11 to 8-12. Which doesn't seem too bad, but it's counter productive because everyone is tired and doesn't work as fast. Plus, It's shit if you have to wake up early in the morning like I do for uni occasionally. Also, I'm working every Friday from now on. Goodbye non-existant social life.

In hospo you either befriend your co-workers, other local hospo workers or you get very lonely.

I'm working every other Saturday, but have football during the day. I'm also working every other Sunday.

WGMG: We have set up duty for round 1 next week. 6am is too early for a Sunday.
