It depends entirely on the industry you're in who you work for, how you're paid, etc.

I may be wrong and don't know what gave me this impression, but I think Benjo may be at a supermarket, in which case if it's anything like Sydney it'll be time and a half on Sundays.

I'll say again; this depends entirely on the company employing him, state laws, whether he's paid cash or on the books, if he's on a Unionised CBA. Some supermarkts offer double time for Sundays owing to being completely understaffed constantly.

I work for Coles. I'm fairly sure they've said before it's penalty rates on Sundays, so I'm sorta surprised they said yes.

If Coles in WA have the same penalty rates as in Newcastle, then Sundays are time and a half
