WGMG: Took me two fucking hours to get my P Plates this morning.

Yeah, they never fire you first thing. Far easier to get a day's work out of you and then ruin your week. Dicks. :lol: Unless it's hospo, then they don't give a shit.

Which brings me to the various WGMG's I've got...
1) My manager quit this week, leaving me as the superior ranking employee in my venue after just 2 weeks in the place and I'm freaking out a little due to 2)
2) my venue owner is a micromanaging dick. He pushed my former manager over the edge and I he's nothing but a pain in my arse. I can't stand his micromanaging and tinkering fucking with my staff and trying to get me to do shit which isn't as important as controlling the environment and keeping the drinks flowing.
3) One of my waiters is a temperamental dick who I just want to fuck off, he keeps yelling at my bar staff and at the kitchen staff and is constantly asking me questions which I've told him the answer to a dozen times. I'm sick of his shit but the owner won't let me pull the trigger and fire him despite the fact that I have staff lined up I can get to replace him in a heartbeat.

And this reminds me of a customer I had on Saturday night, who announced quite loudly that he had to go home and watch The Voice with "that faggot all the girls like, Ricky Martin. He then proceded into a quite bigoted and stereotypical diatribe about homosexuals.

Apparently the 6'2" gentleman standing next to him wearing a purple shirt, drinking Rose I was in a conversation with enough of an indicator that his homophobic sentiments weren't welcome and this went on for a while before both of us went "oh-kay buddy. Have a good one" and the man in purple confirmed that he was indeed homosexual. Fortunately he found this gentleman's antiquated opinions to be hilarious and continued to tip me the rest of the night :lol: I'm just dumbfounded that this guy's attitude was still alive and well in modern society.

The messed up thing though is they retrenched three full timers which I was ,but kept on agency casuals ! They are trying to cut down costs and they keep them on :lol: . The company is in deep deep shit.

WGMG: Finally on P plates, and my parents want me to do this three week driving course on picking up hazards.

How exactly is this a bad thing?

I have to do it twice a week and each time for three hours. I understand that I don't know everything about driving and I'm still new about picking up hazards. I wouldn't mind doing it if it wasn't so time-consuming.

Doing a course to make you a better, safer driver. Man, what a fucking life burden that must be.

Fuck that. Spend a week driving in Russia in the middle of winter. Survive that, and you'll be the safest driver in Australia almost!

i actually enjoy referencing. i remember i got a HD in an early-on course purely because of how well i referenced an essay i had to write, which it turned out they were mostly interested in referencing rather than the essay #winning

what style do you guys have to use? newcastle uni mostly uses APA style, unless stated otherwise.
