What sort of jobs are you looking at?

Nearly all the job ads I see have that minimum 2 years experience crap on them. Even when they are advertising for graduates. How are graduates meant to have that unless they are on a cadetship, which most aren't.

I also hate jobs listings that they already have a candidate selected but are only advertised because the company has to.

WGMG: Poorly defined interview questions like: "Can you use a computer?" or "How would your year 12 Maths teacher describe you?" All I can ever think of when they ask them is sarcastic responses.

The number of times i've looked at a job advert, and seen spelling mistakes, or stupid shit like the above...How does the person that wrote that have a job, but I don't?:lol:

Not really looking for at any specific industry atm, just any sort of part time work to help me save up before I travel next year. Most of my previous experience is Customer Service, plus i'm currently doing some casual Retail work, so that's the most of it...but I'm looking pretty much everywhere.

With customer service stuff you should be able to get a retail sales job or something surely?

EDIT: no idea if this appeals, but this is the company I worked for in Vancouver. Their Melbourne Franchise is massive and really well run. Great staff too.

I find them a bit creepy, but I know a few people who watch these videos and find they really sooth them and calm them down.
