WGMG: Jimmy Fallon. He isn't funny, a typical American comedian

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Yeah not funny at all, not many of those late night show hosts really are though.

Unlike the others Fallon isn't even a good interviewer though, all he does is lean forward over the desk, laugh loudly and repeat a word or phrase from the story he's being told.

Yeah he's much better than Fallon.

I've seen a bit of Craig Ferguson lately and whilst I don't think he's much of a comic he always has great chemistry with his guests and is a natural talker, his flirting can be pretty entertaining at times too.

I find some of Fallon's youtube highlights pretty hilarious tbh. But I don't think I've ever watched a full show of his.

The lip synch battles that I've watched have been hilarious.

I watched a segment called "Ew", however, that was beyond pathetic.

Love Jimmy Fallon. IMO he gets great chemistry from a lot of his guests due to being friends with so many of them. Also no show has ever had a better house band than the roots. His and JT's history of rap series is some of the best tv I've seen.

Fallon's special segments with guests are legendary.

The tonight show is an American institution that requires a very wholesome family man to be the host (think Daryl Somers). Anything remotely risqué and people would lose their minds.

For this reason I think he can come off as a bit bland.

WGMG: organising large groups. And Jetstar (seemingly).

So my football team end of season trip to Melbourne we sorted months ago. Here I am, good guy and all, I front the cash for flights (the cheapest option) there-and-back for me and 16 of my mates. I give them my bank details, they pay me back whenever. All good. A few weeks ago, one of our mates decides he can no longer afford to go. Someone tees up someone else to take his spot. Because I book it, I get given the job of changing their names. After a web-chat with a Jetstar person, and then a phone call, turns out I can't get the money already paid for the 17th persons flight, and to change the name to someone else will cost an extra $330 (which is more than the two flights value).

I can't deal with this stress of sorting it out, hey. The mate who pulled out is dodging everything, the one who took his spot is questioning what will happen, and no one wants to sort it out. I was the good guy who fronted the cash for the entire thing to save the hassle for everyone, but no one seems interested in helping me out here (when really, it has nothing to do with me). Somehow I know I'm going to get short-changed massively here. And I will fxxxing scream if I do.

Has anyone dealt with a similar dilemma before? Can our new mate just fly under the other dudes name, or is that pretty illegal? Are we royally screwed, unless the original mate joins back in?

If anyone works for Jetstar and has the ability to just change the name, I will be forever in your debt and will shout you several beers.

Worked for me plenty of times when I was flying to Sydney for work and the idiot booking them would always book them in her name instead of mine.

Not sure if the new terror levels change id requirements though, so don't come swinging at me if it doesn't work.
