WGMG: I have shit luck with travel and illness the past 12 months.
- went to sydney last august, i have trigeminal neuralgia and the air pressure from the flight triggered it and i was in agony for the 3 days i was there and contemplated taking a train home.
- travelled spain and uk to have the flu by the time we landed in London and what i can only assume was gout that lasted 4 week in one of my feet.
- now we're in phillip island, have lost my hearing in my left ear (same side as my tn, and its been like it for 3 weeks) have been to the docs had it syringed, nothing happened and now i have some crazy rash which i don't know if it's from the pool or the bed... and there is no good beer here!

Nope, never seen it, and I hope it never becomes a thing on Sydney television.

Now I come to think of it, I don't think I've seen a 'national tiles' store in Sydney. Mind you, I don't keep an active eye out for tile shops. Maybe I will now.

It's actually on the radio, but it is on every single station so is impossible to avoid. I change the station whenever it comes on. When it comes on at work though there is nothing I can do about it and it angers me  The current one goes for a full minute too.

WGMG: This cold won't fuck off. My nose is 3/4 blocked yet it's still somehow runny, my eyes randomly water from time to time for no reason, I'm producing industrial amounts of phlegm and mucous, my right ear has decided to block up at least once a day when I blow my nose and I'm miserable as fuck. Sudafed, Zyrtec and echinacea and garlic aren't working. It's funny how scientists are finding cures for horrible, deadly afflictions such as cancer and AIDS, yet something as mildly pesky as the common cold is incurable.

I'm fucking done with winter. Can't wait to kick this cold's arse and emerge from it, ready to enjoy the beautiful warm days ahead.

Went to sleep at one, woke up at three. Only got another hour of sleep.

Passed out at 10-11 am and woke up at around 1 pm.

Fuck this cold m8, I don't feel like I'm getting better at all and I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight because I'm already feeling as bad as I did last night at 4:30 in the afternoon. Feeling more and more miserable every day.

As if that's not bad enough, because I've been blowing my nose constantly, the bottom of my nose and my lips are dried and cracked.

If I don't get better soon, I'll need to start taking uppers

Handy Hint. Before you go to bed, do a nice large glass (couple of 'healthy shots') of whiskey (bourbon or scotch). It'll help kill any germs at the back of your throat, and will knock you right out.

If you struggle to drink straight whiskey, make yourself a [Hot Toddy. It's an old remedy that is known to work to cure colds. That, and it's an excuse to drink.
