Can't even comprehend being in that much pain.

What did you do to it?

I pinched nerve whilst driving high reach forklift 3 years ago. Got pain killers but because i work in manufacturing the shoulder has serious tedonitis .

Yep can comprehend that extent of pain. Over the past 18 months I've had about a dozen trigeminal neuralgia attacks that have at their worst point Have pushed me to throwing up... which actually exacerbates the situation. Was actually told that you're more like to piss yourself than to throw up due to pain, have almost been there but i think because it's such an embarrassing you can somehow subconsciously try to avoid it.

I've done both. This pain is the worst thing ever.amnd I've had my knee reco'ed makes it worse when im at work and i pick up something then just drop it due to my shoulder and arm going numb

WGMG:
- Caught the bus at the uni today (the first of two stops there).
- Bus was already pretty packed already when I got on except for 6-7 seats up the back
- Next stop about 20 Japanese students all want to get on this particular bus as they're in a large group
- I have a spot next to me which is taken up by one student who is circled by her friends who are also followed by their friends
- They refuse to sit up the back where there's room
- Whole bus is chockers from back door to front door, they can barely move but they don't move to the back as that would mean they're away from their friends for several minutes
- The bus driver can't drive as there are people literally standing right next to him and in the back door bit (making it illegal for him to actually drive as it's not safe)
- Despite being told of the non-drive situation they refuse to move to the back, laughing and conversing in Japanese
- Someone clearly in a hurry literally pushes some of them to the back with his bag so the bus can move

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

WGMG: Union strikes. Mobilized equipment from 3hrs away for a specific task on the Private Hospital site here on the GC and they all went on strike which fucked us and the principal contractor over.

What's even funnier is CFMEU were calling for better wages for everyone and more jobs for Australians whilst at the same time handing out $5 flags and t-shirts made in China

I don't really see the irony there. They aren't trying to provide small manufacturing jobs to Australians, they are trying tolook after their members. And to be honest, so they should. The price of housing in unrestricted - why the fuck they're all on petty wages in comparison to the owners of the principal contractor and private hospital in general is an embarrassment.

It's still funny how they're all about Aussie jobs though. They have to be the worst union I've ever had the displeasure of being on sites with.

They're being ridiculous. The cost of this hospital is blowing out because general labourers want to take home more than the design team. It's not looking after the workers, it's extorting the principal contractors for every cent they can get. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a moron, especially in this case.

If anything their labourers should be lucky to take home anything at all given how f*cking terrible they are at taking instructions. They cost Watpac thousands in doing a poor job at literally everything, cutting corners, not getting their paperwork sorted and in general ignoring information passed down the chain. I could list like 50 examples we've had to deal with.

Funny how you say they want to make more than the design team.

The greeters at Bunnings get $28/hr. $42/hr on Sunday.

In 2001 I came back from a 3 year stint OS working and bagged a job in Brisbane on $X salary.

14 years later the salary for my field of work (even allowing for 14 more years of work experience) is roughly the same. Maybe another $10k.

I want my kids to go to uni and do something interesting but to be honest they're better off doing a sparky apprenticeship or get a ticket to be an excavator operator or something.

Do 5 years of that, (no HECS debt), blast out own your own and don't look back.

Funny you mention riggers! Since the Santos APLNG has finished (well 1 section anyway) in Gladstone a lot of the riggers are getting jobs with the drillers we use. They were saying they were clearing 3k a week working 9-5 and more if they did night shift.

Coming back to Brisbane/Goldy and having to work more than an hour without smoko must be tough

The blokes we were using were on a 3/1 roster. Paid for 10 hours a day except that Saturday and Sundays were time and a half and double time so they were being paid 96 hours a week for a 70 hour week + allowances.

Absolutely no expenses either. They were laughing their arses off.

Even with a per diem I was nowhere near these blokes. And I was working the same hours.

Fark riggers can drink. Not as much as concretors but they give it a fair shake.

WGMG: I'm playing like absolute shit in FIFA and I don't know why.

Played West Ham vs Newcastle three times and I couldn't score once. On the rare occasion that I'd win the midfield battle, my strikers would either shoot straight at the keeper or get schooled by the defenders. Cresswell got sent off for what shouldn't have even been a yellow as he won the ball, didn't lunge dangerously and didn't trip up his opponent (I'll chalk that down to a glitch). Everything went wrong. Fuck 4-1-2-1-2.

Currently playing England vs Greece and I'm still playing. I'm tied 3-3, but the Greeks are pulling off all sorts of tekkers and scored by lobbing it to one player in the box, who headed it down for the striker who slotted it away while I can't even string together a few passes before I get shut down. I'm relying on Welbeck and Walcott for pace.

I don't know what sort of formation I want anymore as none of them seem to be working for me at the moment and I don't know how to get myself out of this rut.

After posting, I tried passing it forward and I got shut down by the other team. They then ran down the flank and crossed it in for Mitroglou who scored and made it look like a piece of piss.

She's Indian (the Northern type) and comes from a really conservative family (they came here a couple years back). She's fine herself, but her parents are really hell-bent on her marrying an Indian bloke or something (I'm anglo if anyone was unaware).

Anyway, what I was told happened is she left her phone open. Her parents had a snoop on her photos and found a pic of us together. They then yelled at her for a few hours, before telling her that we can't see eachother anymore.

Apparently they think that I'm some sort of "white trash tradie". They want her to marry some successful Indian doctor/engineer or whatever.

This is great.

May not have been you blokes but a couple of weeks ago everyone (442'ers) were banging on about how good Kyrygios was with his trashtalking rubbish.

It's only bad sportsmanship when it's not Australians doing it apparently.

The gout lasts about 7 weeks in totally (my tn drugs may prolong it)
Get back from europe early july. Get the flu again!
Lose my hearing in my left ear and partially in right and have been like that ever since.
TN flares up massively.
Hayfever has kicked off the last few days and now i have the flu again!
As for the hearing i now have to have surgery on my nose and ears to fix it!
Then after recovery i have to get 4 wisdom teeth taken out before i can then have microvascular decompression surgery for my TN.

safe to say my head is falling apart!
