Where to begin. Decisions, decisions.

On the 20th of October the internet slowed to an incredibly minimal speed for the first time during my tenure here at this piss-stained household. At first I thought it was a glitch in the network, a line had gone down or what have you. However as the weeks passed by and the uni assignments built up I suspected something more sinister had befallen my precious internet connection. My dear Chinese roommate was indifferent to the issue, happily resuming his screaming sessions while playing Metal Gear Solid with the excitement and focus of a gibbon on ecstasy. I contacted TPG inquiring into the issue, they informed me that the internet was capped and would return on the 11th of November, meaning that I had to finish my uni work without reliable internet which coupled with my immobility due to an operation most certainly rustled my jimmies.

During this time my beautifully ignorant, unstable and feminist sister was planning her permanent departure from Newcastle to Tasmania for study reasons. The failing internet, my reliance on her to get the groceries and medication, and the incredible pressure of two university subjects took its toll on her highly original, valuable mind and she proceeded to ramp up her rudeness. Furthermore, whilst going through the torment of walking down to the shops to obtain previously said groceries/medication she took it upon herself to take $80 out of my bank account because and I quote, "I deserve it because of the sacrifices I've had to make". Her date of departure was slated to be the 15th and I couldn't wait long enough.

On the 11th on November, having completed my uni assignments in poor quality because of lack of internet or mobility to get more material, I contacted TPG and the real estate to inquire as to why the internet still had not resumed. I was told that someone had used the data allotted to our monthly plan, which was strange as we had previously unlimited internet. I deduced that it was not me as I don't play online games and have a hard drive with many shows. The only major use of the internet I indulge in is due to streaming A-League games, and I never watch it in HD. The female Chinese roommate had only just returned from extended holiday so it wasn't her. That left my sister and the Chinese guy. I knew for a fact that my sister was regularly at uni and downloaded materials there because the net is quicker on campus, leaving the intellectual champion of challenge pissing himself as the sole culprit.

On the 11th I left a note on his door explaining that the net had been capped from extensive downloading and asked him to download large files at the uni so as to avoid another annoying situation. An hour later he came home (slamming the door), upon seeing the note he broke into a fit of rage, yelling (yes, yelling) at himself and immediately rang someone clearly explaining how angry and victimized he felt. He immediately left (slamming door) and I spoke to the Chinese girl about how there was nothing to be angry about and he doesn't need to be so upset over a simple request. Before he left he posted a note on the bathroom door that said, and I quote (no bullshit, it actually said this):

"Don't think every mistake is happened by me!!! I have already used mobile hotspot to downloadmg. I have pay $20 to every week buy hotspot and have did you use internet. This thing is happened. I think everyone have mistake, didn't just think you is right!!!"

The use of tense was telling. Chilling and telling.

Upon returning later that night he was calmer and wrote a far more eloquent note apologizing for his anger, and understood the problem was in misunderstanding. However, the damage was done.

Before returning home and calming down he had personally rung his mother, the real estate and the landlord. The call to his mother was mentioned previously, according to the real estate he rang them in tears implying that I was racist for asking him to be considerate and mentioned that my sister was causing significant household unrest (untrue, being a female she could not physically piss on the floor and was also privy to the concept of cleanliness). He rang the landlord who, unbeknownst to us was an older Chinese woman who knew him and his family personally.

My sister was leaving on the 15th but on the 14th as I was literally about to have a cone she entered the household and began her interrogation. She accused us of bullying, interrogation and racism and threatened to get her husband involved. We stood up for ourselves which visibly angered her, and upon providing evidence that the Chinese guy (who stood directly next to her, staring at the ground) pissed on the floor for 6 months and was incapable of cleaning or consideration of others, she proceeded to ignore our evidence and implied this was a ruse, further exemplifying our apparent racism. She steadfastly refused to let us speak and was convinced that the internet was fine, despite me showing her clear proof that it was capped and that it wasn't us doing the downloading. She was abrupt and clearly uncomfortable with my beard and tattoos, and stood within an inch of my sister, full staring into her eyes. We gave up reasoning with someone so entrenched in their own arsehole and went back to our rooms. She inspected the bathroom, toilet room and kitchen with Chinese guy in tow, and further implied that we had created the mess despite the bathroom being covered in long stands of black hair which neither of us have.

I was comforted by the fact that my sister was moving out anyway and the matter would be forgotten, and I had a friend of mine lined up for the room so all, it seemed, was well. All misunderstandings between me and the roommates was cleared, with no awkwardness or difficulty. However just today I was informed that my friends rental application was rejected, and when inquiring as to the reason, he was told that it was because he knows my sister (untrue, he's met her only 3 times and didn't like her anyway). So now, he has to find a house by Tuesday because his stupid New Age divorcee mother refuses to live with him, all because of a misunderstanding built upon stupidity and pettiness.

Also may I add, my sister left some furniture in her room for my friends use and now some anonymous c*nt gets free shit. Also the internet will not be fixed or investigated because apparently it is unlimited despite the fact that I can't even load Facebook on my computer.

A lot of our contraceptive counselling to young girls these days is to change perception that the pill should be used for contraception. The general trend is to move to "long-acting reversible contraceptives" like implanon and mirena. There needs to be better sex-ed in schools to promote these cos many girls come asking just for the pill.

Realistically LARCs should be offered to all girls aged 16-20 and offered along with the normal childhood vaccination schedule where it is safe to do so.

All of this stems from society moving away from taking responsibility for themselves and instead labelling their own failings and blaming society for their own lack of hard work. This is also in keeping with the sense of entitlement from the welfare state.

Wgmg: my new job, I've just been told that in my position that you are have to have a 0.00% BAC, no illicit drugs and there is a selection of prescription meds you can't be on which anti-convulsants is one and i have to take them for trigeminal neuralgia. So annoying as if i talk to someone about it, that may mean i lose the job and if not i could get tested. I had to work on a site with some name of drug that I cannot remember that gave me an alcohol reading. I rang them in advance of coming to site (it was Lend Lease and they're anal) and they checked it out before allowing me to come to site.

Yeah i got the job two weeks ago, was asked then if was on any medication and i wasnt then went to neurologist last week and was told to go back onto meds. I definitely know that if I'm on them i have to tell them but essentially the job insists i cannot work if I'm on this drug. Top to it off i had my 4th training day which included heaps of manual labour and its put me in pain so now I'm really pissed off.

I also have a feeling they will get pissy if i tell them I'm on this drug because ive got this wrong with me. During the application process and interview they Asked if i was on medication and i wasnt so i said no, they never asked if i had a condition or illness However i will have to tell them but i think they will twist it around so as I've withheld information which i don't think i have.

If you can see i don't have alot of faith in employers... i have a good part time job but in the past I've had some very shit employers
