On the upside - did you use the "I want one last kiss/root/etc before I die" to any of the girls?

Yeah, I'm still a bit shaken up but I'm better. Some Channel Seven cameramen showed up so everyone flipped them off.

Got Home Study after lunch so I'm just gonna sign out now, get some coffee and unwind.

For the first time, but certainly not the last, I began to believe that Arsenals moods and fortunes somehow reflected my own. - Hornby

The dark room is on the other side of the school, with cops in between. No way I was getting past.

Why are you panicking if it is fake?

Right, because I knew it was fake from the start.

But you know it is fake now so chill out.

Why not relax and talk to the person next to you instead of to strangers on a forum?

He has issues with anxiety, it doesn't have to be rational.

Yep can only imagine what that would do to someone who has problems with anxiety

A friend of mine actually did have a panic attack because of today, I'm sure she'd be able to tell you that it's not as simple as relaxing.

Panic attacks are horrible, wouldn't wish it on anybody, Salmon is right its just not that simple.

I'm not sure if I had a full panic attack, but for pretty much the whole time I was sweating, heart was racing, felt like I was going to throw up. I was only out there for about 60-90 minutes but it felt like hours.

Least you get out of class.

Geeeez we got multiple "bomb hoax" a year... We got one on september 12, 2001... we were seriously going to school thinking wtf... then "bomb hoax"

No one took them too seriously... evacuate to the footy field unless you were already in the bomb shelter, hang out and miss some classes... good times. Those terrorists really valued drysdale!

Hey salmon, I know this is off topic but my 7yo son can get quite anxious at times. Lately he is worried about things falling and breaking.
However he is a very friendly boy and plays well and makes friends easily so maybe its not similar to you.
I was wondering how long have you been aware of your anxiety issues??

I worry my little fella is not handling his imagination well enough.

I'd say I've always been this way, but I only realised that it was more than me being socially awkward and being a pussy a couple months ago.

Thanks for the reply man. Its probably just a phase but he has had anxiety issues for a few years. Not social though more fear based, like going into the school hall used to freak him out but he got over it in a month or so and now has no problem.

Just being a Dad you start to worry....

I don't know if it's just a phase if it's been happening for several years. Even if it is, you should probably talk to a GP about it and see what they suggest. Whether or not it's social, anxiety is anxiety. Best to treat it now while he's a little kid before he gets to high school, where even the calmest of teenagers can crack under the stress and anxiety that high school causes every day.

WGMG: Went to a mates while my wife went to melbourne. Had a neuralgia attack that went for 2 hours. They called an ambo... i couldn't tell them not to... i couldn't respond to refused ambo. They called my wife, she came back to geelong... ruined her night and 4 hours later we discharged from hospital cause there is nothing they can do other than uselessly drug me up.
I've had to tell everyone that if it were to ever happen to simply get some water and basically forget about me.
I understand that it's a strange and maybe scary situation but the doctors are next to useless and i definitely don't need more drugs in my system.

The latest Discloure album is a great transition between shit commercial radio music and decent music.
