WGMG: Builders being fucking slow with house drawings... we give them the alterations we need but insist on doing preliminary drawings that have no changes so that they can send it to us and then we have to change it so then they have to do new drawings. Which then delays the point when we can get final costings so we can go for our home loan...

But is fine now We are building with Geelong homes, and yeah i knew it wasnt the builder as such but Geelong homes have just been so slow with everything. Our broker has worked with them in the past and said they have been quite good, they've been really accomodating but just very slow... we haven't been difficult because we are on a tight budget and know what we can afford. We've asked them to fast track everything to the point we can apply for the loan (it was one of the stipulations when we decided to go with them after looking for 18 months) after that they can take as long as they like. I know they have procedures to follow and such but seriously... weve been waiting for movement since October.
