Rates of recidivism for people coming out of prison (especially kids) are really high. That's not to say all they need is a slap on the wrist - but locking them up and punishing them for the sake of it just makes it more likely that they'll re-offend.

I in no way want to just punish them. In cases where they're gang bashing someone there is no reform for such moral emptiness.

Why the fuck do my sinuses have a meltdown when they come across some harmless fucking pollen?

Im on two very low doses of carbamazepine and gabapentin for trigeminal neuralgia was told by my neuro to up the dose of gabapentin so i did that starting last saturday.
Today i woke up at 4:30pm in a sweat, pin and needles in my fingers and toes, weakness in my arms and legs... Managed to get on all fours and catch my breath... took about 10 minutes, was able to reach my phone and call the wife who sent my sister-in-law around. I couldn't get up, i don't know what happened, spoke to neuro and went to gp and have cut dosage back.
The problem is I'm missing 3 hours of the day where i remember nothing, i don't know whether i just had a deep sleep where i fell into the floor or whether it was something short. The evidence says it is the latter as there was some tv i says viewed that i don't recall watching and some things i planned on doing but don't remember doing. If it is the latter i find that almost more disturbing. Fuck!
