Sydney didn't lose to them! We got 2 draws against them. [-x

Sydney FC was in Group E with Urawa. Urawa won the group. Sydney lost the group. Urawa therefore beat Sydney. Boring.

Nice cover up. If anything you should be saying that the eventual Champions (because they will win it) could never beat Sydney FC. ;)

...And yet again, the old cliched "at least" remark. Saying that we lost to the eventual champions is a blanket spin to make the idiots feel better. Fact is SFC lost [the group]. Has nothing to do with whether Urawa go on to win the comp, or if they made the final, or even the semis. The fact the team you lose to goes on to win doesnt justify your loss in ANY way, shape or form. Its like saying "well we [Australia] lost to the World Champions in Germany last year [-(".... fact is Urawa played better than Sydney, end.
