I love going to other Aussie football websites like Foxsports and TWG and reading the blogs by their writers. You get to see an insight into what they want in the game, how they feel about stuff and all that. Plus they don't have to be diplomatic and all journalistic and can just shoot from the hip.

And some of those sites allow comments where further debate and ideas can ensure.

When AU442 launched there was potential for a bucketload of regularly updated blogs. I just went through the main blog page and some of those blogs have like 1 or 2 entries, some of the recent ones in April last year.

Theres only so many news articles one can read. The comments and the forum after the article are the most fun part because its people's opinions and all that.

And it also seems that not all A-League clubs are covered by bloggers (even though the ones that are, are very very rare posters).

Whats my point? I don't know. Get some regular bloggers. I'm sure Afroman is bored atm after finishing year 12 and he can bore us all on how Liverpool will win the EPL and how Sydney don't deserve the Premiership because they've only won a "couple of games" :P
(NB this was only an example, in reality please don't give Afroman a blog. He spams the forums enough as it is without him having his own damn section on the website :twisted: :P)

You're right, i'd be happy to right, and i'm doing nothing. But i'm not sure you'd be so interested in what i have to say or that i have much to say at the moment that's blog worthy.
But I'm not so biased as to write an entire blog on why sydney shouldn't win anyway...unless you want me to...:P

I agree that the blogs are under-used and what I also find annoying is that the responses to them are censored. Several times I've completely disagreed with the blogger and tried to post my response but it was not posted. These posts weren't particularly mean or offensive in anyway, I simply disagreed with the point of the blogger. The sooner we get rid of this the better.

Comments are only removed if someone finds the comment particularly offensive (which has happened in the past), but that's always AFTER they've been put online. There's no censorship process in between you pressing "submit" and it appearing on the site. It happens immediately.

Yes, FFT is much, much better than the Daily Telegraph when it comes to censorship.
