meh, lift the salary cap for sure, add more cap-exempt players (marquees). But too early to remove it completely.

The Current Fox deal is $120m over seven years for A-league and Australian Internationals, I can't see how ESPN could just get the rights off Fox just 1 year into the Deal?

No, they aren't taking the rights off Fox. They have the rights to broadcast it in Asia. Fox will still be showing it locally.

Cap will not be scrapped so soon. The league isn't established yet to survive without it. Teams do not have the support base to continue to be bottom of the table.

But sure they must raise it or go the whole percentage of earnings route.

well the A-league is getting some decent exposure in the world from what I know Sky Sports (UK), Fox Soccer Channel (USA) and Fox Sports World (Canada) show the A-league highlight show. As well has Sky Sports in New Zealand also show most A-league games live. It would be good to get the A-league into Asia via ESPN/Star Sports (ESS). 8 Million seems a bit cheap since ESS broadcast into all of South East Asia as well as China and the India sub contented.

StiflersMom please do not confuse our ESPN to ESS they are totally different, and very very little content sharing is down by the two networks ESPN Asia does a local version of sportscenter at 7:30pm and another at 10pm HK time and it is awesome put our local edition to shame. They don't get the American soccer commentators either rather getting commentary off Sky Sports in england
