http://www.mfootball.com.au/There's a link for video footage of our preseason math against Port Melbourne. Strange to see Zac Walker wearing number 12 as it's a retired number... Edited by deluka: 2/8/2012 09:35:25 PM

Does your club have much to do with the knights? Would seem like a good idea to link up with them more in an official capacity. A redeveloped knights stadium would make a good home ground for you guys to imo. In saying that ive no idea of what transport etc is like for knights stadium so i could be way off the mark. Your club could buy the whole joint though, theres room for a training facility etc. and a registered club already there. Might piss off the croats though, but you could "share" it with them?

Edited by The Frenchman: 3/8/2012 10:37:30 AM Its a good size stadium but the problem is its just too far away in what is considered a pretty dodgy suburb (sorry if i offended anyone on here) , it would be like if wsw played in campbelltown distance wise (i don't know how dodgy or nice campbelltown is). I wouldn't mind if we played a game there once a season or several preseason games there though.

I wouldn't mind if we played a game there once a season or several preseason games there though. Funny thing being: 1. Bundoora is further away from the city than Sunshine North. (albeit only 1/2 kms) 2. I'd consider Sunshine North rather harmless having lived & worked near there previously and I know some who live in Bundoora who talk of a lot of trouble there - so that is subjective. 3. I'm not sure that aligning ourselves with the Melbourne Knights would be viewed as a good thing - it would be taking the contest back towards the NSL - which will surely annoy the FFA. It will also officially link Croatia and Heart, which the 'monocultural A League' will surely squash. Some people are visualising ties between Heart & Knights and Victory & Hellas, however none of these are actually official. If they became so, I could imagine the FFA having something to say about it. As for 'pissing off the Croats' I doubt it - considering the Croatian links in the Heart lineup it would likely be a positive thing with the Croatian community. I'm much more concerned about the other side (FFA). Edited by canehdrian13: 4/8/2012 05:54:02 PM

Kind of a sleepish suburb with a mixture of age groups, but mostly baby boomers (retires). I know sunshine well, the place is dodgy. 2nd to Footscray. Seriously. I say the partner with many other clubs too such as the Italians at Bennetto club in Bulleen Edited by red and white: 4/8/2012 11:17:03 PM

Edited by Joffa: 7/8/2012 11:46:32 AM Woah 9000? That's pushing it a bit. If we get anywhere over 6000 members I'd be realistically happy. About to buy my first Heart membership this year though, so there's one more.

Not a great performance, but good to get a hit-out against what looked to me like a pretty full strength and committed Knights team. Fred and Golgol made their first appearances for the pre-season, coming on during the second half. Still a long way to go, which I suppose is normal for this time of year. Tadic was there (didn't play), so at least the squad is coming together.

From Clint Bolton's Twitter Quote:#HeartHunt alright crew this is the lowdown...there are going to be some drops of @MelbourneHeart kit around inner Melbourne...
#HeartHunt clues will be tweeted as to their location. Be first to decipher the clues, get to location, mention the # & the kit is yours...
#HeartHunt first drop is happening tomorrow in inner eastern suburbs. A new establishment which has only bean open a matter of weeks... so anyone know a new store that has some relation to beans. Some sort of coffee shop. oh well Gl to anyone who tries

From a outsider has the style of football changed much under John Aloisi or is it similar to Vant Ship's philosophy?

MFootball on twitter implied that there was some crowd issues last night, then deleted that post. Anyone got any info on that?

Brendan Hamill made his debut for Seongnam Ilhwa last night. Hamill played 58 minutes of the 1-0 loss to Ulsan Hyundai.

thanks Not sure when they're being sent out. But if they can't get it out in time, they can give you a certificate which you can give him on the day. I did the same thing last year and gave them that. You should probably ring the club.
