Well, he has come close several times. What is worrying is that Fulham looks to be relegated next season. It's ok to be on the outer at a Premier League club if you are a 20-year old but once your a 21-year old on the outer at a Championship club, you are in a worrying situation.

Leeds are looking for another centreback while defender Rui Marques is playing for Angola in the African Cup. However, if Leijer wants to ride the pine with a little club like Fulham instead of playing for a bigger club, thats his career choice.....

Yep. Leeds is a bigger club than Fulham. Easily. Especially when they will both be playing in the Championship next season ;)
