Sydney United are the only team who has really dominated the NSWPL in a season out of the clubs from the former NSL. They won the minor premiership by 7 points last year and showed they were the best team in the competition.

They are also the only team from the former NSL to win the NSWPL. Wollongong won it in 2008 but that's not Wollongong Wolves since the Wolves folded due to financial reasons.

Olympic don't play in an Australian league. They play in a state based league (although isn't it more a Sydney + a couple league) and thus should be in Grassroots.

mate it's falling apart. The Bulldogs can't play there because of it's shit condition. They would love to but it need s serious renovations. It's the best in the NSWPL in terms of capacity. But capacity doesn't mean anything in the NSWPL when every team could use a 5k seater and still wouldn't fill it.

There are better stadiums in the NSWPL.

dont forget blacktown city. we were also in the nsl too, and we have won the NSWPL too

King Tom has 8,000 seat capacity, Full Toilet facilities, parking and corporate box facilities and so do numerous other grounds in the comp.

Key word there being DILAPIDATED. Meaning run down and generally falling apart. Now no work has been done on the park so it is still in the same state therefore still DILAPIDATED. So how can the supposed best ground in the NSWPL be a ground that is run down and dilapidated when there are grounds in the comp that are in better shape.

haha but nah blacktown city did win it in 2007. we did the double by winning the premier league and then the final against bankstown i think it was. we also did it in 2001 i think.

The fact that the article is from 5 years ago is irrelevant because the ground is still in the same dilapidated state. has not been fixed at all in 5 years because the govt hasn't given anyone any money for it's repairs.

So if you're proud of playing in a dilapidated run down old stadium that's your choice. Just don't call it the best stadium in the league when it's clearly not.
