I was there, Keenans goal was good, but he was far from outstanding.

The referee was absolutely shocking. Knights had enough chances to score, but just didn't take their opportunities well enough.

I would say South Melbourne got lucky....

We keep on getting lucky though. Last week (prior to the stupidity) we have virtually nothing infront of goal... Big central defender who had been cleaning up all day had to leave the pitch for treatment in the last minute, long ball into the box, two headers and it's a goal.

Yesterday, average game, bit of class from Keenan and then hold on for another 3 points.

Hard to argue with an unbeaten side - add a striker to the squad and we'll be very tough to play.

No chance of A-League or 2nd division at the moment, but I'm quietly pleased with the FFA's decision to sign off on the Singapore Cup spot, it suggests that they are willing to give us a bit of rope and see what we can do. A good performance there, coupled with good league performance here, could pay dividends in the long term.

Keenan is too good for the VPL. My tip would be for the Fury.

I'm glad he's back in Melbourne for the time being. I always thought he got the rough end of the stick by being released by Victory.

Keenan has said he has come to Aus for the lifestlye and wants to finish off at the one club. He is happy playing vpl and is happy to stay there. As for Davidtorres comments the ref was spot on with every call, he was not that bad, the worst call he made was not giving advantage when knights got a free kick but played on, if you look at it all the decisions were there. Even then, you cant blame the refs for your team losing, if their not good enough on the day its their own fault.

I thought the ref was bad on a few occasions, and quite inconsistent. And btw, I am not a South Melbourne or Melbourne Knights supporter, I was there as a neutral.

No doubt South deserved their win. As for the ref, I thought he was fine. Knights are a young side and were outbodied by South on numerous occassions and went to ground and weren't paid free kicks. I thought Knights got to the front third and struggled to penetrate with Dubois being marked out of the game by O'Dor and Cetkin.
