Spiranovic came on at the end for Urawa. with Jesus on the other team you'd think this would have been a good reason to play him from the start?!

Good luck to him. But it pains me to say it wouldn't surprise me if Pim didn't start him at all.

kennedy is actually pretty spectacular with his head, some of the goals he scores are very good quality. People are quick to just write it off as being tall but he is more then just a tall person. In the same sense that not every one with feet can score, not every tall person can header.

Hmmmmm, It would make sense to start Kennedy over Kewell in that role, As Kewell can be utilised in another position. On the left for example where we are lacking.

are the socceroos really lacking on the left though? maybe defensively, but offensively we are more than covered. Carney or chippers which ever isn't defending can play there, as can breciano, vidiosic and ruka.(pending who makes the squad)These are all capable players who can be threatening in their own right. Should be interesting to see what pim goes with.

Really? Carney? You're kidding right? He wasn't good enough at the last world cup, and he has played an almighty 8 games all season. If Carney really is the best we have to offer on the left...we're screwed.

Given the option, you want Kewell on attacking left, Kennedy up front as a target man, McDonald in just behind and one of Bresc or Emerton on the right.
