A.P.I.A.-Leichhardt Tigers have a mighty challenge against Blacktown City FC at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday, though the team from Seven Hills better not underestimate the roaring Leichhardt team. The Tigers have gone on an impressive run in recent weeks and now sit only one-point outside of the top-five.
And 9 points out of the top four
They're really starting to get away

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article NSW Premier League Round 12 Preview?
The second-half of the 2010 NSW Premier League competition heats up this Sunday evening as Blacktown prepare to destroy the Tigers at Leichhardt Oval.

Have your say.

It's going to be a nice chase for the minor premiership and a nice chase for 5th spot. Truly one of the most interesting seasons thus far.

despite the loss. Matthew Mayora, currently on trial with an A-League club

More info? :-k

Could be Sydney FC - Vitezslav might be having a dabble in the state league. Matthew played on loan to Perth last year. :-k

Moss will be hoping A-League players Chris Payne

Is Payne & Bush on loan?

My tips:

- Sutherland to beat Sydney Olympic
- Sydney United to draw with Rockdale
- Manly to be Bankstown
- Blacktown to beat APIA (I'd be going to this if i didn't have to write up a 2500 word essay for uni  - Can't believe the good run of form APIA have been in after such a shit start, if they do win this they have a real good shot of finishing top 4.
- Marconi to smash Canterbury Berries
- Bonnyrigg to beat South Coast

Does anyone also know what the goalscorers tally looks like - the NSWPL doesn't do one or provide stats for games. Quite slack IMO.

Olympic away at Sutherland.

Lost 2-1.

10 of us made it to the game with a drum and a flag.

Only footage from the game is this of us going to the stadium entrance through the park next to the stadium where the Olympic players were warming up -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8mt78ESHSA

Consistent chanting till we conceded the 2nd goal to make it 2-1 and chanting was pretty much non existent after that.

Interesting night, dealing with the usual fucking red necks.

1. One official tried getting us to get rid of the drum saying it's forbidden and banned cause it's in a residential area and the usual bla bla bla. He failed.

2. Second official in the second half came up and told us to stop swearing and chanting in Greek and to stop speaking Greek and to speak English 'cause we're in Australia'.

3. Stavroulakis (Sutherland player) came straight to us after the game abusing us and 'wanted to fight' with us and had to be restrained by his own goal keeper from coming to us.

All in all, probably the best game so far this season we have had, even better then the Bonnyrigg game, lol.

Typical racist red necks we had to deal with. Oh and Sutherland is the district area that Cronulla is in.

Don't wanna start a racial riot here, but English is the official language of Australia.

And what ever happened to the golden rule if your a guest somewhere you should abide by their rules...

English is the official language of Australia. Meaning in schools, governments, documents, courts and etc English is the language used. Yes, there is not denial of this. But does that mean we can not go to a football match and speak a different language and chant in a different language? Our Club represents the Greek community, and naturally is followed by Greek-Australians, some of our chants are in Greek, some of them are in English. Are we not able to speak to speak Greek in Australia? Is it illegal?

It is typical of those Shire scum to be racist pricks. It happens every time we go to Seymour Shaw. It started from the first 5 minutes of them game when they told us we couldn't use the drum cause it's disrupting the game, and the stadium is in a residential area etc etc. We told them at the front of the gates they had a list of items we couldn't bring in like knives, pyro etc etc, and no where did they say a drum. They told us drums were forbidden and we asked them to show us an official document that said this and they refused, so we continued with the drum for the whole match.

They then came and picked on us about chanting in Greek, and after he copped a mouth full from us, the official of the Club, walked away with his back to us and sticking his middle finger up at us. How can you justify such behaviour. I am sorry to say, but the continuation of the trend of people from 'Gods' country, its evident there racism has not changed at all.

And Heineken, are you trying to suggest that Australians of Greek ancestory are 'guests' in Australia?

No i'm saying Olympic fans were the away team, hence being the guest, and therefore should abide by the home ground rules.

Yes, you're 100% correct. And we told the official if he could show us an official document in writing that says drums are forbidden in Seymour Shaw, we said we would not have an issue with removing the drum. Since they could not produce the document and told that 'he doesn't want to show it to us,' then we're not just going to take his word for it. I think this cant be disputed.

If you talking about the rules being not speaking Greek in Seymour Shaw, then that's a load of shit. What about people like my grandfather who was at the game with his friends and can not speak English at a conversational level? Are they forbidden to communicate at the ground? Or does this just apply when a vocal group of young people come, that they should not be able to speak a foreign language. And how can anyone defend an official of Sutherland Sharks sticking the finger up at supporters? This also can not be disputed
