Hahaha yeah sucked in to them. Their muppett coach talking before the season started saying that they are going to go through undefeated and that hes going to take them to Greece when they win the league LOSER!!! hate that team so much, cant wait till we play them at our ground theres going to be blood shed. Prospect are going to rip them a new asshole this weekend too

But with the both of us being Greek Clubs, the atmosphere was electric. About 250 people at the game, not bad for 2nd Div State League! It was 5-0 then they copped 2 red cards. Great game! Peter Sarikakis is the biggest clown in Australian football and one of the most laughed at people in the Greek commuity.

I used to play for Springwood in the state league. I think they are in the conferance league now.

Division 2 is the new name for the old conference league.

Shock result. The Skinny one is the coach, the fat one is the assistant coach. Both clowns and won't be around next season, which is good for the club and the players as many were ready to walk away. I'm sure you understand the difficulty the Club went through this season being the first season back in the State League. We didn't start recruiting players till January!

Bathurst having a draw with Roosters is a shock result. Good on em. I still maintain that Roosters is a rubbish over rated team. But of course, I'd rather the Turks win then Minotaurs to go into Division 1 !!!

You forgot to mention that Minotaurs have copped 10 goals in 2 games ;)

Haha yeah we play them in 3 weeks can't wait. Mate I've never seen a game like the game vs bulls yesterday. Luddenham 2 0 down at half time scored 4 goals in 13 mins to win 4 2. There were horrible tackles,a sideline brawl, yellow cards getting shown all over the shop, a dodgy ref and a 4 goal second half comeback was unbelievable

Non of this was mentioned in the match report Mr Montgomery ;)

Minotaurs are playing Prospect tomorrow night in a catch up. Might have to venture down there. A draw would be nice

Whats this quality like and what the hell is a Luddenham?

I played a bit, but have had a few years away from the state leagues... Do clubs still offer trials?

Div 2 is the 4th tier of football in NSW and 5th if you count the A-League, it's amateur league.

Luddenham is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Luddenham is located 42 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government areas of the City of Penrith and City of Liverpool. It is part of the Greater Western Sydney region.

We have a coach up game on Thursday night against Hawksbury @ Richmond. Reserve Grade is 6:30 and First's are 8:30.

It's going to suck trying to get to Richmond by 6:00 on Thursday!!!

Cheers mate, never heard of Luddenham; considering I rarely leave the Northern Beaches its not a massive surprise...

4th tier I wouldn't imagine is that strong; are these paid players? I know you said amateur league, but there were/are always ways to get round that...

The second division has some quality players in it for example Luddenham has about 5 or 6 players that were in super league last year and a few from div 1 but in most cases the players you get from that level have some sort of downside mostly work commitments where they can't always train or maybe injury prone or just ill disciplined. The standard amongst the top teams is quite high lower teams are usually just runners.Luddenhams ground is not far from st Mary's. Yeah clubs still offer trials best bet if your looking is to go onto footballnsw.com.au and in the competitions drop box you'll find player trials where clubs advertise for players. Who did you play for? Some clubs do pay but not much
