Because Grella responded publically to him, I am happy to post this.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/football/3728308/Phoenix-in-with-a-sniff-at-signing-Fallon

But with the Kiwi recently claiming he's good enough to mix it in the English Premier League and any move to the A-League severely slashing his salary, Pignata's charm offensive faces two obstacles.

The good news is hardly any English clubs are showing interest in Fallon, who scored five goals in 36 games last season.

And the prevailing feeling on Argyle fan sites is that Fallon's hopes for Premier League or even Championship football are inflated

God i hope Grella plays and breaks his legs(yes im wishing injury upon a player as he has flagged the idea himself).

Then we'll see who the tough guy is.

A team full of nobody's all fired up to topple the big boys.

Good move FFA

any injuries are on your poorly planned heads

It is obviously a wind up, journalistic licence & an attempt to rile up people to get more along to the game. See it for what it is don't put your own spin on things. For you to say you want him to have his legs broken is indicitive of your mentality, I couldn't see anywhere in the article where Fallon syas he wants to break players legs or injure players.

As for a team full of nobody's have a look at yourselves, you have an handful good top level European pros and then it falls away quickly, not as quickly as us mind (we only have 2 real established top level pros in Nelsen & Reid) but you are not blessed with world beating talent yourselves.

No player will go out on Monday to injure someone else it is a farewell game & a chance for both teams to try out new & fringe players.

As for the crowd if people don't want to go along to wish their team well before they go then that reflects badly on the supporters and has nothing to do with the quality of the opposition.

First of all let me just...bahahahahaahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Secondly to paraphrase Fallon :
We will go in hard, i wont be surprised if there are some injuries.

I also mentioned if you bothered to read im sure he is just winding up our players and trying to psyche them out of 50/50s

Could you please sort your first sentence into something people can understand?

Still no mention of him saying he wants to injure players again I would say it is Journalistic licence.

As for your last point I know you wrote that but in the very next sentence you wanted his legs broken, this shows your mentality.

People are starting to pick up on it, and about time too.

http://wwos.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=1054959
Socceroos hard man Vince Grella has branded as "unprofessional" New Zealander Rory Fallon's suggestion that players could get injured in next Monday's friendly in Melbourne ahead of the World Cup.

http://www.smh.com.au/world-cup-2010/world-cup-news/grella-backs-pim-20100520-vp5e.html
Tickets sales for Monday's match have been slow and Grella was less than impressed by that lack of support yesterday. ''The whispers are that there hasn't been a great deal of ticket sales happening,'' he said.

http://www.theroar.com.au/2010/05/21/how-many-fans-will-turn-out-for-socceroos-farewell-match/
The potential sight of thousands of empty seats ringing the cavernous MCG is not a good look, however I’m not sure that ticket prices ranging between $40 – $95 to watch a Kiwi side containing plenty of A-League talent is a sure-fire seat filler.

This is a good hit out for both sides before world cup however as for aus they get to try a few things (russia or someone of that nature would punish aus if they did that) and NZ get to try our first 11 to see how they perform including the new CB combination Reid/Nelson. With the team aus will field and NZ's best Im predicting it to be a fairly even match and well worth the watch. Just hope no injuries ruin it for anyone but Fallons comments didnt help things.

Ha ha yeah, was very very easily done, wasn't it.
And the soccerwho's are "the big boys"? lol please.
They do have one very good player, Cahill, not world class but way too good for NZ.

Both sides have an equal chance of getting any points at all out of their group.
That's pretty slim.
But both NZ and AUS will give it a bloody good go, that's us.
Hoping no kiwi or aussie gets injured, both teams can't really afford it and only scum
would wish for a player to miss out on The World Cup.
Looking forward to this game.
The kiwis will put up a fight but Pim's who's should win.
3-1 if anything. Two Cahill headers :o , a kiwi own goal ](*,) and a kiwi pen from some cheating aussie bastard, ;)
