The bit I don't get with Holman is why is he picked at all in the position he's usually placed in? Yes he's quite possibly the most fit in the team, and his general workrate is commendable on the pitch. But what the bloody good is that when he's played in a position where he's either to be setting up strikers to score goals and or scoring them himself, something he rarely if ever does? We have two fantastic players in Culina and Grella who are our workhorses in the middle. They go missing plenty of times in the game but they are always doing something, yet they can make a pass and set things up, Culina moreso than Grella but that's beside the point. Holman is reasonable as a late replacement off the bench to help shut down a game when we're a goal up due to his athletic ability. Other than that he's useless to the team in my opinion. Remember you don't score goals by just running around harassing a player, and you can't win a game unless you score goals!
