Interesting result, but not totally unexpected. Korea hitting some fine form, following wins against Ivory Coast, Ecuador and now 2 x Japan.

Was half-watching the game on TV.

Not surprised at all, considering that moron Okada is the coach.

Granted, Japan seemed to be swapping a lot of star players like that of the socceroos and appeared to be treating it like a practice match.

I'm unfamiliar with the Koreans and their ins and outs, but they weren't making as many changes. I reckon South Korea is probably on par with Australia at the moment and will give it a good go at the cup.

There is no such thing between these two nations. Both sides made six subs however.
